Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday evening

Walter was intensely bored. So bored that he was sitting in the common room juggling the hackeysacks he'd picked up earlier at All and Sundries and eating popcorn. The television was tuned to the Hitler Future History Channel for yet another documentary on WWII.

He probably won't bite your head off if you want to change channels.

A weird look crossed Marty's face briefly and then quickly went away.

"That's true," Marty replied. "I'm certainly glad you stuck around."

"Me too," Angela said intently. "I can't believe I could have missed knowing you."

"Yes. You would have never known the joy of shooting your boyfriend right before he asks you to homecoming," Marty chuckled.

"Or learned not to let Logan Echolls pick the retaurant," Angela said. "Heh. I asked Angel how the hotelmates were and he said 'alive.' Which is kind of an accomplishment."

"Did we ever find out about Cal and her... condition?" Marty asked quietly.

"I don't think we did," Angela said. "But we haven't heard anything either way, so ... maybe she was wrong? Or maybe she, um, you know. Got rid of it. Or she just really doesn't want to talk about it."

"One thing's for sure? No way am I asking her directly what happened," Marty replied. "I'm pretty sure that's a death wish."

"It'll just have to be a mystery of Fandom," Angela noddied, runnign a tongue across her teeth.

After a pause, she said, "Parker would know."

"She would, wouldn't she?" Marty asked. "You should ask her."

"I could," Angela allowed slowly. "Less suicidal than asking Cal, anyhow. But I'd feel weird, asking someone else about something that personal."

"Well if she comes back for homecoming, we'll just look for any tell-tale signs," Marty replied. "Nausea. Eating crackers. Maybe a little weight gain?"

"Falling asleep mid-conversation?," Angela said, trying to remember the ptregnant women she had known. "She'd have to be five months along, right?"

"I think so," Marty replied scratching his head. "We'll have to be careful so we don't give ourselves away."

"So no rubbing her belly?," Angela said. "I don't get why people do that, anyhow."

"Me neither," Marty said shaking his head. "It's just rude."

"Incredibly so," Angela agreed. "Oh, I promised Angel a slow dance, so don't get too jealous."
