The roof, Thursday afternoon

In order to show the people that she whined at yesterday that she was much better now, kthnxs (and to give Blair a chance to apologize, omg!), Nadia was stretched out at a jaunty angle on the roof with her legs propped up on the edge of Bel's garden, guitar in hands, playing something warm and cheerful at the cool, gray sky.

Shut up. Dar Williams could so be cheerful.

Every now and then she'd pause to partake of the thermos of coffee or box of chocolates she had with her.

"Mmhm. Sorry about yesterday."

"Apology accepted." Pippi nodded smiling.

"Not that it matters, because it doesn't matter what other people think as I said, but if I didn't make it clear enough..." she said as she clandestinely 'walked' her fingers over to the chocolate as if to snag one. "...I don't think you dress like a slut... Or if you do then I do to as you are one of the main people I go to for fashion advice."

"Thank you. It was just really surprising, that it was Blair saying it, and he kept insisting."

"I can't help you with why he would do that Nadia, I wasn't there."

"I know. It just doesn't really make sense."

"You're going to have to talk to him eventually." Pippi said. "It's not that big of an island."

"I know. But I wouldn't mind putting that off a little longer if he's not going to apologize."

"Maybe you should find him first and apologize." Pippi offered. "For reacting by shoving him into the wall, to show you're the better person."

"I said maybe, okay? Can I just be happy and play my guitar for a bit, first?"

"Can I have some of your coffee?"

"Sure. And help yourself to some of the chocolates, too. Walter did good."
