Schrodinger, in his flipping around, had found a rerun of "Wendy The Werewolf Slayer".

He was currently watching and trying not to snicker at the mistakes they were making about both vampires and werewolves.

Luke'd had a fantastic day. He bounced into the common room and grinned at the television. "I know this show!" he said, pleased.

"I've never seen it before," Schrodinger said. "It's kind of silly."

"I don't know how accurate it is," Luke said, flopping onto a nearby sofa, "but the girl's got nice legs."

Schrodinger tilted his head to the side. "Which one? The dark haired bitchy one, the red-head, or Wendy?"

"I was thinking of Wendy, but there's really no one who's ugly on this show," Luke replied. "I mean, other than library guy, but that's because he's 975 years old."

"I dunno. There's probably someone out there who'd find him attractive. No matter what you look like, there's someone who thinks you're attractive. Schroinger's Fetish."

Luke blinked. "You have a fetish named after you?"

Schrodinger laughed. "Probably. I was referring to the scientist I'm named after. Obscure physics joke."

Luke laughed a little nervously. "Very obscure. But I've learned physics in a different galaxy, so maybe it would be killing people around here."

Schrodinger shrugged. "I suppose so. What's it like in another galaxy?"

"The television's three dimensional back home," Luke said, "and the milk's blue like it should be. On the downside, the galaxy's under the rule of an evil empire and there's no Wendy the Werewolf."

"3-D television sounds cool," Schrodigner said. "What's with the evil empire?"

"They enjoy enslaving aliens, terrorizing everyone and, occasionally blowing up entire planets," Luke said bitterly. "They started with exterminating the Jedi--the guardians of peace and justice."

"What's this?" Billy asked, investigating the sounds of the television.

"Wendy the Werewolf Slayer," Schrodinger said. "It's kind of hilariously wrong."

"You know werewolves?" Billy asked, interested.

"And some vampires," Schrodinger said.

"They anything like the old wives tales say?" Billy was thinking of a certain genetically cloned guy.

"Either one. Uh, Vampires, stake through the heart, sunlight, crosses, garlic, can't come in unless invited..."

"Generally, yes. Not so much with the garlic. I've never seen a vampire that had a problem with the invitations."
