The Roof, Sunday Night

Dawn dragged her CD player up to the roof, plugged it in over by Bel's plants, and let loose--spinning and twirling and basically dancing like no one was watching--because they weren't. The music at the dance had been great, but Dawn was feeling the serious need to boogie to something from the latter half of the century.

Sometimes there was just no place for joy and happiness to go but out.

Evie swayed from side to side, twirling her hands like fans. "It was lovely! I had such fun! A bit of a hangover yesterday, though. Did you know the punch was spiked?"

"It usually ends up that way, yeah," Bridge says. "I don't know who does it- or even if it's the same person every time, or maybe it's just Fandom punch and spikes itself."

Snickering, Evie waved her hands in the air, baaaaack and forth. She was almost starting to get the hang of it, if you were watching her. "Oh! I forgot to congratulate you! Congratulations on being a Homecoming Prince!"

"People must like you quite a bit to vote you in as Prince," Evie said, smiling. "I was just happy to be nominated, when I've only been here a little while. Nadia looked lovely in her tiara."
