The Garage - Before the end of the assembly

Having ducked out of the assembly after the sprinklers went off, Molly and Luke headed to the garage to look at her swoop bike. They didn't even bother to go change out of their wet clothes first.

Molly led Luke over to the bike that Anakin had given her. "This one is mine," she said.

Luke let out a low whistle and crouched down to get a better look. "It's a beauty."

"And really fast too," Molly said. She stood back so that Luke could get a good look at the bike.

Luke ran his hands down the bike's sides. "It looks it. How fast does it go?"

"Anakin said it could go 400 klicks, but I've never driven it that fast," Molly told him. "Even where I'm from, going that fast on the ground would attract too much attention."

"It's in terrific shape," Luke said, mostly to himself as he gave the machine a more thorough appraisal. "Did he bring this with him?"

"I guess so," Molly said. "It looks different than the one he made for Alec using an Earth motorcycle." She pointed at Alec's bike parked near by.

"He made that?" Luke looked very, very impressed. "I can fix something, but...wow."

Molly nodded. "He was very good."

"Yeah," Luke said, nodding. "Do you ride it often?"

"I did while I was gone," Molly said and stepped closer to run her hand along the seat. "But, everything here is so close, there isn't really a need."

"Other than it's really fast and it's fun?" Luke said with a small smile. "Which was always enough of a reason for me back home."

Molly laughed. "Yeah. I'm supposed to be catching up on the classes I missed. I sort of decided I wouldn't go riding for fun until I was caught up. It'll be my reward," she said."

"How much longer do you have to wait?" Luke asked. "And can I come too, the next time you go?"

Molly giggled. "If I'm good and spend most of Sunday reading, I should be all caught up," she told Luke. "We could go next week, if you want. I don't have any classes on Wednesday."

"I have Astronomy," Luke said, "but that's it. And this will be way more interesting."

"What time is Astronomy?"

"Sixth period," Luke said. "Do you want to go in the morning?"

"Sure." Molly grinned. "The morning works."

Luke's grin widened. "I can't wait."

"I know you're a pilot, but have you ever ridden a swoop bike before?"

Luke nodded. "Uncle Owen had one, but it wasn't nearly this nice."

"Okay, good. Then we can take turns driving. I'm going to have to borrow a helmet for you though. I only have mine."

Luke smiled. "I have a helmet," he said. "I can't fly the X-Wing without it."

Molly smiled back. "That works! So, we're all set. Well, as long as I finish my reading on Sunday," she added.

"If you don't, I'll read it to you from the back of the swoop," Luke promised. "See? Totally studying."

Molly laughed. "Now I'm tempted not to finish my reading just to see how well that would work."

Luke thought about it. "Probably not that great," he admitted.

Molly was still chuckling as she shook her head. "I promise I'll get all my reading done," she told him.

"It's probably better that way," Luke decided. He glanced outside. "I need to meet John soon," he said with a small smile, "but thank you for showing me your swoop bike. My father left it in very good hands."

"You're welcome," Molly said. "And thanks. I'm trying to take good care of it."

Luke's smile widened. "You are." He gave her a little wave and then walked out of the garage.

Molly waved back, but stayed to check over the bike briefly since she hadn't recently.

An army of Jamies enter into the garage and begin to disinfect everything.

Molly raised an eyebrow. "Hi... Jamies."

"Hi Molly!" One of the Jamies waved. "Sorry to interrupt. We're just killing all cooties, germs and bacteria in an effort to make our campus healthier.

"Okay," Molly said and let them go about their business.

One of the Jamie's spy Molly swoop bike. "Excuse me... but when was the last time that was disinfected?"

"Why would it need to be disinfected?" Molly asked.

"Cooties. Germs. Bacteria," Jamie said darkly. "They're everywhere."

"I didn't think cooties were really real, but I know germs and bacteria are everywhere," Molly said.

"Would you like your bike to be cleaned?" Jamie offered. "It is the cold and flu season you know."

Molly looked from the bike to the cleaning supplies the Jamies were using. "What would you use to clean it with?"

Jamie held up some cleaning materials and a can of Lysol. "Just the exterior of course."

Molly thought about it for a moment. "Okay, I guess it's fine. But, stick to just the top part of the bike and don't put the cleaning stuff right on it. Put it on a rag first and clean it that way. I don't want to find out the hard way that the engine parts don't like Lysol."

Jamie then does exactly as Molly said to and then slapped an easily removable sticker on the back of the bike that said "Cootie Free!"

Molly snickered at the sticker and decided she could leave it for now. She wouldn't want another Jamie to come by and try to clean her bike again, after all. "Thanks, Jamie," she said.
