5th Floor Common Room, Early Friday Afternoon

JD was feeling a bit depressed, what with parents weekend and his father off in Oklahoma selling pencils. So he was in the common room, drinking something that looked supiciously like an appletini and making little orgami cranes. Lots of orgami cranes.

((OOC: JD will be in here for fun and games until his brother gets around to finding him. Open in the meantime.))

"Speak! Is this the 5th floor or not? Tell me before I get angry and eat yer still beating hart!"

Teddy squeaked, "Yes!"

Teddy Altman: strong against super-villians, weak against pirates with sentiant hair.

Oo! Fabe hadn't had a good menace in ever so long!

He stalked up to Teddy.

"What's wrong whit'cher voice lad? Got yer period? Haw haw haw!"

Yup.

He's been drinkin.

Teddy's eyes narrowed. Sentient hair or not, nobody called him a girl. Or put him in a corner

"No," He replied icily and repressed the urge to grow taller than the pirate. Fighting with a parent would most likely get him sent home, which would end with him getting sent to some S.H.E.I.L.D. 'school' where people sprayed you with cold water and shouted at you. It was true, he'd seen An Officer and a Gentlemen.

Nobody puts Teddy in the corner

"That's more like it! I knew ye had a spine in there somewhere!" Fabe said clapping Teddy on the shoulder, possibly leaving a sea water handprint as a result.

Teddy didn't roll his eyes, because that would be rude. Even if he really really wanted to.

He looked up at the man, or pirate!Thor as he decided to call him, and asked, "Are you looking for someone?"

[identity profile] pirate-fabe.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Me granddaughter, Pippilotta."

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Teddy blinked. Damn, he thought his name was bad.

"I know there's a Pippi around here, but I haven't seen her," Teddy said, shruging apologetically. "Sorry."

[identity profile] pirate-fabe.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"That be here, it be Pippi fer short. She lives on the 5th floor which this would be... Right?"

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"I think so," Teddy replied slowly. "I don't know which room is hers though."

[identity profile] pirate-fabe.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah but she'll be around eventually, I'll just wait fer her." He said flopping down onto the couch with a "squish".

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Teddy held up a pice of paper. "You could help us make cranes while you wait!"

[identity profile] pirate-fabe.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"Cranes?" Fabe looked dubiously at the paper. "What flavor does it come in?" He asked making a REALLY obscure Monty Python reference.

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-10-21 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
Teddy rolled his eyes and held up one of the completed cranes. "We fold the paper to look like these. And if we make 1000, then we get 200 pounds of pudding."

[identity profile] pirate-fabe.livejournal.com 2006-10-21 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"My question is the same for the pudding."

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-10-21 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
"Chocolate," Teddy replied, making it sound like it was obvious.

[identity profile] pirate-fabe.livejournal.com 2006-10-21 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
The pirate grabbed the paper and started folding.

The paper was getting soaked with sea water, as was anything else in contact with him.
