The Gym, Monday Morning through Afternoon

Teddy showed up bright and early for his first lesson from Setsuna and was surprised to have gotten to the gym before her.

He stretched a bit and then sat down to wait for her arrival.

He had been waiting for over an hour now and was beginning to think she had forgotten him.

Teddy shrank back to his normal shape and color. "It'd start more hostile situations back home."

He didn't sound bitter, really.

"Well, I guess I couldn't garuntee there wouldn't be any torch and pitchfork armed mobs."

Teddy frowned and remembered his conversation with Cap. His mood clearly darkened. "I really hope something like that won't happen."

"Yeah, that, would be bad." Billy said lamely.

Teddy looked embarrassed. "Sorry, the weekend put me in a bad mood."

"Sokay. Things didn't go well?"

"Things were fine. The problem is back home," Teddy replied, sighing.

"Eesh. Sorry man."

"Yeah," Teddy said, nudging a spot on the floor with his foot. "Being here kinda sucks sometimes."

"I hear that." billy nodded. "I wasn't sure I should stay at first, but my caseworker convinced me I should."

"Did you miss home or something?"

Billy snickered involuntarily. "No, just, wasn't sure about this place."

"Was it the lizard thing?"

"No it was the psychopathic warlord teaching ethics."

"Ah," Teddy replied. "That would be a very good reason."

"I just, couldn't get my mind around someone actually hiring a guy like that to teach...well at all, much less that."

"Maybe they were going for an extreme 'What not to do if you're a decent person' approach."

"Hmm, that makes crazy enough sense to happen here."

Teddy nodded. "It's better than thinking they didn't know he was insanely evil."

"Oh, my worry is that they did know that he was insanely evil."

"Neither sounds very good, if you ask me."

"yeh. But hopefully he won't succeed in churning out any mini-Vaders."

Teddy looked horrified. "Oh God, now I have the image of the offspring of Vader and V in my head."

Teddy didn't whimper, but the noise was pretty damn close to one. "My brain hurts."
