Marie was starting to feel a lot better and decided that, in honor of Fall Break, she was going to bake muffins in the common room.

JD's face suddenly took on a bit of a horrified look - and it wasn't feigned.

"I never thought about that." He looks a little sick. "And I like muffin tops."

"Maybe the muffin tops were just born that way," Willow said. "And they're happy they can be allowed to fulfill their muffin destinies even if they're not shaped like the others."

JD looks very relived, and thankful that he'd been spared muffin guilt.

"So eating them would be like, you know, affirming for these muffin misfits. Like winning the spelling bee in 4th grade while all the popular kids glowered from the corner of the auditorium."

JD suddenly looked a little dreamy, as if remembering good times.

"Yeah, whose your spelling daddy."

"Exactly!" Willow said. "Only with more blueberries. Assumedly."

"So what brings you here?" Oh shining vision of beauty.

"Immediately speaking? The muffins," Willow said. "More broadly I'm a junior, doing my educational thing. You?"

"Definitely the muffins, although I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of free food. It's important that I keep up my strength if I'm going to be a... doctor."

As if by magic, the superhero voice and pose were observed at his mentioning the word "doctor". It really was a compulsion.

"Oo," Willow said. "Any relation to The, or are we talking more like regular doctor?"

JD looks a bit confused at the "The" comment, but he shrugs it off.

"Just a doctor," he pauses to pose appropriately, "you know... go around and fix people."

"Cool!" Willow said. "What made you decide to follow the path of doctorism?"

I don't want to spend my life selling pencils in Detroit.

"You know, I like helping people. And stuff."

"Oo - me too!" Willow said. "That's part of why I became a witch."

"Oh! I've met a few witches here. Can you turn someone into a camel?"

JD pauses and listens to himself.

"Not that I want you to turn someone into a camel, just, you know, could you do it if you needed to?"

"I've never tried," Willow admitted. "But for Homecoming Hermione and I turned a pumpkin into a carriage!"

"Hrm... could you make, like, a pet from a teapot or something? Cause that would be awesome."

Willow thought about it. "I could probably make a spell to make a teapot come to life, but what if it didn't want to be a pet? I'd feel uncomfortable forcing it into slavery."
