Fifth floor common room, Sunday around noon

Nadia hadn't slept much last night, so was up early to run to All and Sundries as soon as it opened to buy rather a lot of deli meat, vegetables, spreads, and assorted breads.

She's currently building a sky-scraper of a sandwich. It has layers of every type of meat and non-meat combination, including veggie and vegan friendly ones. It's the club sandwich to end all club sandwiches. The Mile High Club sandwich.

As she builds, she's watching Legendbreakers and giggling at the antics of Moses and Hamish.

Mac wandered up to the fifth floor in search of people. When she found Nadia with food and movies, she figured she'd hit on a good source of entertainment for a lazy sunday afternoon.

"Whatcha watching?" she asked, finding herself a spare sofa.

"It's a thing where they disprove urban myths and movie stuff. It's fun. Sandwich?"

Shaking her head at the sandwich offer, Mac pulled the pillow out from behind her and lay it on her lap. "Those two are... interesting," she commented.

"They like to blow stuff up. I approve."

Mac nodded, "Like candy and soda," she said eyeing the screen. "Never would've thought to do that."

Cally wandered up from her workout in the gym, a little bit sweaty.

"Oh, hey Mac. Hi Nadia!"

"Hey, Cally!" Nadia was now standing up to put the next layer of bread onto the sandwhich.

"Wow," Cally said. "Hungry, I take it?"

"Bored. I figured food would get people to show up."

"Cally," Mac grinned in greeting. "Come, watch strange men explode soda and candy."

"Strange men are exploding?" Cally asked.

"Ew, no," Mac said. "They're exploding other things. Less guts, more sugary snacks."

Walter walked in and eyed the sandwich. Out of sheer stubbornness he'd gone with the stairs rather than the elevataor and was embarrassingly tired from it. "Can I have one of those?"

"Oh, hey, you're alive," Cally said. "I, uhhh, totally failed at coming to visit you."

"I didn't really want much company," Walter said with a shrug. "I hate being in the clinic."

Cally nodded. "I've never had to stay there," she admitted. "Almost had to, when I burnt my hands, though."

Walter dropped heavily into a seat and shrugged. "I don't know if I remember that. How did you burn your hands?"

Pippi flounces over and gives him a hug that lifts him off his feet.

"What are you doing taking the stairs? You've already expended enough energy this weekend flipping out unnecessarily!"

"If I keep taking the elevator, I'll always be taking the elevator," Walter said huffily. "And it wasn't unnecessary."

"I wouldn't ever hand them over to anybody that wasn't you." Pippi said. "I promised you I wouldn't and I don't break my promises."

"Hi Pippi," Nadia offered from where she was now on tiptoes to try and add more to her sandwich.

Nadia looked up and grinned to see Walter so mobile. "Of course you can."

"Thanks." He wandered over and leaned on the counter to watch her work. "I'm happy to see you aren't still in jail. Who got you out?"

"Jarod posted bail for all of us. He gave Parker a hard time about it, though."
