Fifth floor common room, Sunday around noon

Nadia hadn't slept much last night, so was up early to run to All and Sundries as soon as it opened to buy rather a lot of deli meat, vegetables, spreads, and assorted breads.

She's currently building a sky-scraper of a sandwich. It has layers of every type of meat and non-meat combination, including veggie and vegan friendly ones. It's the club sandwich to end all club sandwiches. The Mile High Club sandwich.

As she builds, she's watching Legendbreakers and giggling at the antics of Moses and Hamish.

"Another one of those things it's better to be doing together, huh?" Mac probably is blushing, just a little, but she's quite good at hiding it. She wasn't and she'd be permanently the same colour as her hair streaks.

"Well, I'll leave that up to you," Cally said. "But I'm sayin' it might be worth a shot."

Mac chuckled and nodded, "You think there are detramental effects to showering more than once in the space of four hours? 'Cause I'm already pretty clean."

Cally's smile widened. "Oh, I dunno. I might just have to check to see if you missed a spot or two."

"You doubting my showering skillz?" Mac asked with a playful nudge to Cally's side.

"Not doubting," Cally said. "I'm just more than a little trying to, you know, see you naked."

"You know, I really couldn't see through that intention," Mac replied smirking down towards her lap to hide her amusement at the whole conversation.

"I'm totally subtle," Cally said. "Except, ummm, not at all."

"No, not so much," Mac said slowly still supressing her grin. "But hey, at least one of us isn't. It makes things interesting."

"I guess that's my job," Cally said, smiling embarassedly. "Bein' the crass one."

"I would've described it as forthright," Mac said thoughtfully.

"Honest, even," Cally said, her smile becoming more genuine.

Mac gave a quirked grin. "That also fits," she said shrugging. "Whatever way you put it, it's not a bad trait to have."

Cally was now really smiling again. "Glad you think so."

The smiley thing? Strangely catching. Mac beamed, and nodded, "Well isn't it good we have that all out there."

"Yep," Cally said. "Very, very important stuff to, you know, get out."

Mac nodded again with added 'Mm-hm' of agreement. After several of long seconds of quiet she took a deep breath and blurted, "Okay, lets go." Then started to get up.

Cally was up off the sofa, grinning. "This is gonna be totally awesome," she said.

"I'm trying out that whole being spontaneous thing," Mac said. "You think it's working?"

"I'm definitely thinking it's working," Cally said. "This is me totally not complaining and being really kinda awesomely happy, actually."

Mac smiled as she started towards the door. Awesomely happy was definitely a good thing. "Should obviously be doing it more often then."
