Fifth Floor Common Room, Thursday afternoon

Instead of packing for Vegas (because he of course preferred to leave these kind of things to the last minute, and it's not like he couldn't just shimmer back if he forgot anything), Bel lounged in the common room, fiddling with his laptop. He was looking up things to do in Vegas, and he'd found some rather interesting possiblities, most of which hinged on Phale and Wilson not catching him sneaking out.

Hopefully no summons from the Underworld would ruin the trip.

"I'll kick your ass if you magic me out of our room," Bel said good-naturedly. He pulled up a page on the laptop. "How's this sound? "An erotic and sensual topless review based on deliciously evil vampires with a simple story line of sin, sex and seduction."

"Sounds like a definite winner as long as it's not real vampires," Dean joked.

"Nah, just fake fangs, classic rock music, and topless dancers," Bel said. "How about it, you want to go see it with me and Anders?"

Dean shrugged. "Sure, why not? Can't go to Vegas and not see a sex show."

"Cool, I'll pick up another ticket," Bel said. "Maybe I should get one for Blair, too. Let him hug these vamps." He snickered.

Dean laughed. "You should. Somehow the idea of Blair at a sex show strikes me as being very entertaining."

"Maybe we shouldn't warn him in advance," Bel mused. "He'd probably explode from blushing."

"Leave the sex show part out and play up the vampire angle?" Dean suggested. "Since he's all affectionate for them."

"We could tell him we're going to investigate a possible cult of vampires who are trying to make an honest living!" Bel decided.

"We could. Of course, he'd probably spend the entire way there trying to convince us that everything nasty and evil just needs hugs and to eat more vegetables and possibly calling my family murderers again..."

"I'd pay good money to see him hugging the strippers," Bel said. "Remind me to bring a camera."

His tone grew more serious. "I'm sure he didn't mean to insult you and your family. I mean, he's just protective of me and Angel, people like us."

"Hey, I haven't even threatened you in, oh, months. I accept that not everything supernatural needs killing. Blair just refuses to accept that some things really really do." He shrugged. "There's being idealisitc and then there's being willfully blind. Blair sometimes edges towards the latter."
