2nd Floor Common Room [Saturday, Mid-morning]

Shawn has had one of those supremely lazy weeks, where it's almost like he's never left his room. It's made him feel like a total loser. In order to counteract that feeling, he's taking advantage of the weekend to slob out in the common room rather than his dorm and watch Enchanted re-runs. Because hot sisters fighting evil, never a bad thing.

He even brought breakfast. Food always attracts people, right?

His lack in cooking skills doesn't stop him from being able to supply enough poptarts to sink a battleship and coffee. Even he can't screw those up.

[ooc: Food ahoy!]

It could possibly be said that Chad hadn't actually technically woken up yet, and, instead, caught the scent of coffee brewing waifting up a floor, catching him while he slumbered, and forcing him into a state of slumped-shoulders, knuckle-dragging sleepwalking.

THat would explain, anyway, the indecipherable grunting that was his greeting as he poked his head into the second floor common room. It sounded like it ended as a question, but one couldn't be too sure.

Another mumbled reply...Chad was saying things, really, being actually pretty conversation for him, it's just that no one would be able to understand it unless they spoke caveman. He shuffled into the room; he wasn't wearing shoes, but he was wearing slippers. He grabbed a poptart, pointed at the coffeemaker, and finally managed to grunt out a word, "Coffee?"

It was a very, very important word.

Just what Chad wanted to hear. He wouldn't actually help himself until invited to, so, poptart hanging from his mouth, he scrambled to find a mug and fill it up.

Chad had chugged down half his mug, so his verbal capabilities had returned. "Nope." He refilled his cup, grabbed a few more poptarts, and shuffled over to the couch, careful not to spill as he did his customary plop. With the plop came an also obligatory complaining creak from the furtature. "What's on?" he asked, nodding toward the TV.

Chad peered at the screen over the rim of his mug as he sipped his coffee. Wearing that, indeed. "Why would you?"

Blowing things up was definately cool; Chad nodded in agreement. "Do the other ones do equally cool things?"

"Uhh," Chad scratched his head. "Not that I know of. Didn't watch much TV. Didn't have it back home, and too much crazy shit on the airwaves in Japan..."

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-11-11 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Chad glanced over at him. "You ever seen Japanese television shows before? Anything, and everything, and usually animated with bright colours at breakneck speeds, man..." He shook his head a little It was too early to think about it, really.

"Yeah, and there's some good stuff. Like Carniverous Kingdom."

There may have been a bounce in there, as much as a guy like Chad could bounce. Chad liked Carniverous Kingdom. He had the whole boxed set, yo.

"Nature show, but with this puppet lion guy as host," Chad explained while munching a poptart. "It's awesome."

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
Chad scratched his head again, then sipped his coffee. "No, but a lot of the guys who do host seem like puppets."

"And small."

Because, really, that was Chad's main thought on the whole point.

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah," Chad agreed, also taking a sip of his coffee too, then holding out the mug after taking a look at it. He turned to Shawn and, deadpanned, "Gotta stop drinkin' this stuff, though, or it'll stunt my growth."

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Another nod. "Damn good." Chad slurped signifianctly to emphasis his point.
