4th Floor Common Room: Sunday night

Lana dropped off her stuff in her - Jim's - room and made sure she was ready for work and class tomorrow. But then she just couldn't stay in the room alone so she headed for the fourth floor common room.

She made microwave popcorn and hot chocolate, enough to share if anyone were to drop in as well, then settled herself on the couch to watch TV.

"Accents are lovely," Lana agreed. "Some of the actors who've played Jimmy Bund... " She sighed happily.

"Oooo, yeah," Willow said. "Like that one who paid Colt Iron on TV? I don't understand why they ever cast somebody else in the part after he had it."

"I know! He could have played the part till he was 90 and I still would have watched," Lana agreed.

"Did you see him in that remake of the John Tiara Affair?" Willow asked. "He was pretty hot in that too. Though his costar? Normally I like her but she is not aging well. I think she needs to stop using so much makeup to pretend she's younger."

"Oh my God, he was gorgeous in that! But yeah, his costar..." Lana shook her head. "I think if she'd just let herself be her age she'd look better."

"Like those actresses who use Botox and who aren't even 40 yet," Willow said, making a face. "It makes them look older than they are just because they're using it."

"Exactly. Plus it always makes their faces look a little unreal," Lana said. "It can be pretty disturbing sometimes."

"Anything that flat and shiny should be attached a robot," Willow said.

"Yes. Or come with a warning at the beginning of the movie."

"Or be made of tin foil."

Lana grinned. "Warning: This film contains the gratuitous use of botox and face lifts and may not be suitable for all audiences."

Willow snickered. "Film also contains older men dating women who are barely out of high school. Viewer discretion is advised."

"Too much truth in advertising for them, no doubt," Lana said with a smile.

"Yeah, it'd be up there with them titling the movie something like 'We only made this because the actor had a contract and we'd get sued othrwise'," Willow said.

"It does seem like that sometimes, though. You watch it and think, 'why did they ever think this person could act?' and then they're in another one!" Lana shook her head. "Hollywood can be strange."

"Times like that I can believe in the casting couch," Willow said.

Lana nodded. "Hard to imagine it's anything else."

"Though I never did understand why someone's ability to pick out good furniture would mean so much in Hollywood," Willow added.

Lana blinked at her, not sure if she was joking or not, then just nodded. "Yeah, hard to understand."

"Must be one of the reasons why they call it Hollyweird," Willow said, totally serious.
