Fourth floor common room, Wednesday night

Jaye's glad to be the first one in a common room, just because it means she doesn't have to download all her TV for once. (Perfectly legally, of course.) She takes a seat right in front of the TV, grabs the remote, and completely fails to know what's on on Wednesdays anymore. She's all confused since the networks started switching things around the schedule and forgetting to appropriately advertise them. Pretty soon things'll start getting canceled. Freaking networks.

And it's best not to ask why there's a little lion sitting out on the table. Because then Jaye'll have to admit she's an idiot and there'll be flailing and no one wants that.

Sam wandered into the common room. "Hey, I got lost. What're we watching?" She sat down on the floor, giving the lion a quick glance.

"At the moment, commercials. If you know what's on tonight, feel free to take over," she offers. "You got lost, huh?"

"Hey, Officer Lion-Girl," Bridge greets Jaye as he flops down on a couch. "And lion," he blinks at the little lion figure, but doesn't ask.

Dean wandered in, saw the tv was on and flopped down on the couch. "Hey. So what's on?"

Kawalsky was passing by when he saw Jaye and Sam in the common room. He walked in, then laid down flat on his stomach on the ground close to the TV. Sure, he had to strain his neck to look at the TV, and half of his face was mushed into the carpet, but he was tired.

Molly has no reason for being on the fourth floor. She just is.

She walked in and sat down. "Hey, Jaye. Long time no see."

Billy didn't stay for the whole movie (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1210839.html?view=54712279#t54712279). He found he didn't enjoy romantic comedies as much as he used to. Not that he'd seen very many. At all really.

"Please tell me there's something good on." he said as he came into the common room.

"No idea," she said cheerfully, "and it's either I got lost or the third floor got temporarily displaced or sucked into a black hole, which would have done a lot worse damage to the building." Or, she could have been bored, but that was the easy explanation.

"So, what's going on?"

Peter was still just happy he'd survived the government midterm. "Hey everyone," he said, taking a seat on the couch and looking curiously at the television.

"Hey," Sam reached back, grabbed a pillow from one of the chairs, and lobbed it towards Kawalsky. "You look half-dead."

"Commercials," Sam said helpfully.

Marty is wandering around the dorm and grabs a seat on the sofa. "Hey, Tyler. What's going on?"

"Watching TV, not working on college apps and giving Thanks a week early," she answers. "You?"

"Bridgey," Jaye greets him, smiling. "Long time, no talk to. What's up?"

"Running, working out, losing swoop bike races," she pouted over that, "no classes today. Also not working on college apps."

"I'm thisclose to stopping it on a Spanish channel," Jaye decides right then and there. "We can make our own dialogue as a room."

"Kawalsky!" Molly said with a grin. "How have you been?"

"Hey, Peter," Molly said with a wave. "Did you enjoy the race on Sunday?"

"Is there any particular show inbetween them or are we just flipping from commericial break to the commercial break?"

Dean grinned. "Sammy and I used to do that sometimes when we were stuck in motel rooms with really bad tv reception and we were really bored."

"Evening, Molly," Peter replied. "I definitely did. Did you?"

"I just got here," Sam shrugged, then gestured with her head towards Jaye. "All hail the queen of the remote."

"Evening, Bridge," Peter said with a wave. "How goes it?"

Molly wrinkled her nose a little. "I would have liked to win, but racing was fun, yes."

"I was up late watching TV. Hey, looks like I'm about to do it again." He grabbed the pillow and turned his head towards Sam. "Haven't seen you in forever. Been hiding out with Captain Wonderpants?"
