Wednesday Morning, 4th Floor Common Room

Gwynn was really confused.

This was nothing new.

However, this time, she was really really confused.

It was this whole flurry about some holiday that was tomorrow and she didn't understand it. She had never heard of this Turkey Day thing that everyone was talking about.

People seemed to be making plans to go home for this thing ... and she had no idea what was going on.

So, this would be why she was perched on the back of the couch in the common room, trying to work that Bard In A Box thing that Ms. Lorelai had called a TV.

Perhaps someone in the box could explain this to her.

Zuko entered the common room, holding a DVD in his hand. To be honest, he was actually looking for a common room where people where in today. Not that he'd be that honest. "Hello."

Gwynn turned her head and then smiled. "Hello, Zuko. How are you?"

"Fine," he replied automatically, his eyes moving towards the television. "You are watching something?"

She shook her head and then frowned at the contraption in her hand. "I still can make this cursed thing work," she admitted. "I was hoping it would help me understand what is going on tomorrow."

"Morning, Gwynn," Peter said with a smile as he looked for things to do before going to class. "How do you do?"

"Morning Peter," she said with a nod. "I'm well. How are you?"

"Glad it's the last day of classes this week," Peter replied, falling into a seat on the couch. "I can't argue with that at all."

"Why are people celebrating people having dinner?" She burst out.

After talking to Gwynn, Zuko moved over to say hi to Peter. Well, sort of. He held up his DVD of Space Battles.

"Morning, Zuko," Peter said, taking a second before realising he was supposed to do something with the DVD. He grinned. "Shall I pass on to you the mysteries of the DVD player?"

"How do you do, Pip?" Peter asked with a smile.

As Pip was walking by, he happened to see Gwynn and poked his head in. "Hey Gwynn. Long time no see."

Gwynn smiled and waved. "Hi Pip! Yeah, I haven't seen you much, either. How are you?"

Pip shrugged. "My cat tried to tear off my head this morning. So pretty good for me."

Nadia wandered in. "Hey, Gwynn, how's it going?"

"Hey Nadia," Gwynn greeted her. "It's going alright. How are you?"

"Good, now that I'm no longer convinced that this is a fantasy land. Oh! You should come to our international thanksgiving thing. Whenever we end up having it."

On her way to the salle with her umbrella, Setsuna noticed more activity in the common room and peeked her head in to see who was up and about. She should probably grab a quick little something from the fridge before starting her work, anyway.
