Fifth floor common room, Monday afternoon

Okay, so it wasn't so much her own bed, but Nadia was resting. She just chose to do so on the couch in the common room while watching bad Christmas movies instead.

She'd pulled her blanket out of her room and was wrapped up in that as well as the wool poncho, a big cup of hot coffee clutched in her uninjured hand.

Jamie bounced into the room and collapsed on the sofa. "Hey roomie! Didn't see you last night. If you're wondering what that smell was in our room... um... it's gravy. I'm working on it. How was your break?"

Nadia blinked a little bit blearily at Jamie. "I was in the clinic last night. I've only been in the room long enough to get my blanket since Wednesday."

Jamie blinked as he finally realized that Nadia wasn't 100% healthy. "Whoa. What happened to you?"

Nadia shrugged one shoulder, talking quietly. "I was kidnapped."

Jamie face-palmed on Nadia's behalf. "This wasn't because of the whole hallucination thing was it?"

Nadia shook her head. "No. It was because I'm a TA."

Cally gave Jamie a little wave. "Gravy?"

Jamie waved back. "Thanksgiving Food Fight gone horribly wrong. Some sent home a reprisal in my duffel back. Gravy bomb."

"Eeeesh," Cally said. "Got everything out but the smell, huh?"

"Yes, but the cat was very happy," Jamie replied. "I've got a couple of airwicks going full blast in the room"

Cally wandered in post-Interstellar Relations.

"Heeeey everyone," she said.

"Hey, Cally." Nadia pulled up her legs to make more room on the couch. "What's up?"

Cally plopped down next to Nadia and shrugged. "Not much. Feeling kinda chilly?"

"I have a cold." Among other things. "I've been freezing forever, seems like."

"Ugh," Cally said. "How'd you manage that? Play out in the rain?"

Pippi flounces in with a bag of caramel candies.

"What's this?"

Pippi points at the TV where festive little characters frolicking across the screen.

"That."

"No frakking clue," Cally admitted.

"Kinda cute..." Pippi muses offering the bag to Cally. "Caramel?"

Nadia shrugged. "Something about reindeer?"
