Tyler was bored.

Tyler didn't like being bored.

He went down to the gym and started working on the weight machines, trying to plan out his weekend. The new nightclub might be fun...

"Perhaps," Peter said. "Went on a War Theory trip that lasted two and a half days and just an hour, got super glued, and Marie's not come back from Thanksgiving yet."

"That's as weird as the science-exclamation-point trip inside Jack Harkness," Tyler said with a shudder. "Marie's gone missing?"

"It was to Professor Harrington's homeworld," Peter said. "Anakin's trip was the same type of thing. I'd think going inside Jack would be even weirder." He nodded. "She hasn't come back yet and Willow and Jamie can't reach her."

"I missed both of those," Tyler said. He looked slightly concerned. "And you don't think she just wanted to get away from Madrox?"

"Willow doesn't seem to think so," Peter replied. He didn't know how much Tyler knew about Marie's family and didn't want to tell her secrets. "But perhaps it's just a family emergency."

Tyler considered this. "A family emergency where she couldn't call her roommate?" he said.

"I know," Peter said with a frown. He hit the bag again. "But perhaps there's a dimensional issue."

"Could be," Tyler allowed.

Comfort wasn't really his thing, but: "Whatever it is, she'll probably turn up."
