Dorm Roof, Late Tuesday Night

Another invasion come and gone, and this time Anders got to be kind of useful. What's a guy to do but brood and smoke on the roof, after all that?

So yep, that would be exactly what Anders was doing, all the while composing a letter to Kara in his head. He also had his Pyramid ball with him, and was bouncing it around in between drags.

Fun times.

"What if I am?" Anders spread his arms, challengingly. "You in the mood to dish it out?"

"Don't push me," Bel snapped. "Not a good time."

Anders made a half-mocking tsk-ing noise. "It's never a good time with you, seems like. What's crawled up your ass this time?"

Bel pushed Anders's shoulder, hard. "Watch it," he said.

Anders had been prepared for that and braced himself against the impact. Reaching up and grabbing Bel's wrist, he asked, "Seriously, man, what is your deal tonight?"

"Just a little riled up, I guess," Bel said, yanking his wrist free. "What's the matter, thought you liked me like that."

Anders chuckled. "Well, yeah, I do. But you're extra edgy tonight. Call me curious, but I'm just wondering if you're okay."

"I'm fine," Bel said. "Just need to blow off some steam."

Anders smiled tightly. "So you came up to the roof and found me. Why does this always happen when you need to blow off steam?"

Bel smirked. "Maybe because I think you can help me relieve the tension?"

"Well, you know me," drawled Anders. "Glad to be of service."

Bel took a step forward, closing the distance between them. "Thought so," he said, almost a purr.

"Well then." Anders let a slow smile cross his face. "How can I service you tonight?"

"I'm sure I can think of a thing or two," Bel said. He looked around the roof. "Might not be the best of places though."

"And I have been very good about being discreet. Wouldn't want to break that streak now, would we?" Anders laughed softly. "Not that the whole danger element isn't exciting, but anyone could come up at any time."

The demon in Bel was enjoying this far too much. Anders was so malleable, so easily manipulated. It was almost too easy. "So where do you suggest we go?" he said.

"Well, I do have a perfectly nice room," Anders replied, dragging the words out slowly. He knew damn well he was being manipulated -- he just didn't care. "Or you could always do that shimmer thing, surprise me."

"Not feeling particularly creative at the moment," Bel said. "But I hope you are."

Anders knew, in some part of his mind, that this could probably be a very bad idea. But after his brief conversation with Cally earlier, he was feeling particularly rebellious. He licked his lips and let his gaze travel down the length of Bel's body, pausing significantly halfway. "Oh, I've got a few ideas in mind," he murmured, and leaned over to kiss Bel firmly on the lips. "Why don't you take us back to my place?"

"There's an idea I can get behind," Bel growled, hungry for some satisfaction. He hooked his hands in Anders's pants and jerked him firmly against him, then shimmered them off the roof.
