Fifth floor common room, Tuesday evening

After the buzz of yesterday, Nadia was feeling a bit gloomy again. She'd managed to get herself some soup without too much "I can only use one arm!" trauma, and that, combined with some hot chocolate, was working wonders for her ability to pretend it wasn't effin' freezing outside.

Her shoulder was aching again, though, and as she sat on the couch with the TV on quietly in the background, she went over what she could remember of the troll battle, trying to figure out where things had gone square shaped.

"Yeah," Naomi said, "I'm just hoping that I can get into Starfleet Academy after I finish school, I wonder what Starfleet's going to think when they realize I attended a school nearly 400 years into the past, that's weird even by their standards,"
