Fifth floor common room, Tuesday evening

After the buzz of yesterday, Nadia was feeling a bit gloomy again. She'd managed to get herself some soup without too much "I can only use one arm!" trauma, and that, combined with some hot chocolate, was working wonders for her ability to pretend it wasn't effin' freezing outside.

Her shoulder was aching again, though, and as she sat on the couch with the TV on quietly in the background, she went over what she could remember of the troll battle, trying to figure out where things had gone square shaped.

Walter wandered up with his electric blanket in preparation for girlfriend-hassling duties.

"Hey. How are you feeling?"

"Okay, I guess. I made soup."

Naomi had started feeling restless in her room where she had stayed since she had been discharged from the clinic so she decided to see if there was anyone about, "hey," she said as she entered the fifth floor common room.

Nadia looked up from adjusting her shoulder brace. "Hey, Naomi. How'd you fare this weekend? Your first invasion."

Walter glanced over his shoulder at Naomi and smiled. "Hey. I haven't seen you in a while. How did you fare with your first major invasion? Or were you here for the Gentlemen?"

Tyler roamed up to the fifth floor bundled in a sweatshirt. "It's cold in the dorms tonight."

"Not here," Walter said from his spot under an electric blanket with a warm Argentine at his side. "Hey, Tyler."

Nadia nodded. "It's worse outside, though. Hi, Tyler."

Walter looked over his shoulder at Schrodinger and frowned. It was the first time he'd seen the catboy outside of class since the incident in Nadia's room.

Nadia scowled at Schrodinger. "It isn't. What of it?"

Tyler nodded coolly. "Schroedinger. How was your weekend?"

He still had to make himself not call Schroedinger cat-boy.

Pippi flounced in with a bag of slinkys caramel candies.

"Hey."

"Hey! You must have known I'd be here, you brought treats."

"Hey, Pippi. Want some soup?"

Tyler half-grinned at Pippi from under his hood. "Got candy for me?"

"Hi, Al. How was your troll filled weekend?"

"So, how many trolls did you people kill?" Joxer asked, walking into the common room. "I got about fifty, myself."

"I lost count," said Nadia, entirely honestly. When one doesn't notice when one has run out of bullets, one tends not to notice how many things you've killed.

"Not enough," Walter said, not sure why he was humoring Joxer. "Just three or four."
