The Roof, Sunday Night

Pippi had noted that it had been a while since Pip had played guitar on the roof. And Pippi, indeed, was right.

Pip shclepped his guitar up to the roof, lit up a cigarette, and began to play an upbeat song. Specifically "What I Got" by Sublime.

"That's okay, I couldn't remember the beginning of the song. But I think it's something about how you can play the gee-tar like a mother frakkin' riot."

"I can't. I can only play like a motherfuckin' riot."

"Well, you're young yet. You keep practicing. I believe in you."

"Yeah, it has its perks." Pippi said sidling up to him.

"What exciting things have you been up to?"

"Had a cold," Pip said. "How was your concert?"

"It went very well. We had some difficulty on the way home, but we came out on top. It was cold, I missed you." Pippi said. "Are you better now? Should you be out here?"

Pippi put an arm around him, to keep him warm of course.

"Much," Pip said. "I heard about a cat that talked?"

"Taileypo!" Pippi said. "He was adorable... Angry, but adorable."

"Nadia said he was Merdebaise's evil twin."

"Well... at least she didn't try to train him."

"That might have gone badly."

"I don't think that's a word, Pippi," Pip said.

Pip shrugged. " 'kay."

"Do you want to do something this week?"

"Such as?"

Pippi shrugged.

"spelunking, hiking, camping... Some combination therein? Maybe just go out to dinner?"

That certainly tends to be exciting for just the two of them.
