The Roof, Sunday Night

Pippi had noted that it had been a while since Pip had played guitar on the roof. And Pippi, indeed, was right.

Pip shclepped his guitar up to the roof, lit up a cigarette, and began to play an upbeat song. Specifically "What I Got" by Sublime.

"Getting back in shape is more like it. Getting in a fist fight with a werewolf was easier than what my own body did to me."

"Yeah. Why did you resort to your fists on that one, by the way? It seems it'd be easier to use your wires."

Walter took a drag off his cigarette before answering. "He caught them. Caught them and held them."

"...Holy crap. I did not know that was possible."

"It's possible," Walter said, pressing fingers into his cheekbone. "And he was fast." Which, coming from Walter, said something.

"So you got punched by a wolf? Why didn't he just... I dunno, claw you?"

"How should I know? It wasn't as though he was the chatty sort."

"C4," Pip said. "That'd probably fix him."

"Well, we did drop a building on him." Not that that would have worked on Alucard, and the werewolf had regenerated insanely well.

"Oh good. Bastard's dead then."

"Yeah...." Walter said without real conviction.

"I sense a but," Pip said.

Walter shrugged. "I'd feel better if I'd seen his dead dismembered body."

Yes, he had just said that. Yes, he'd really meant that about the dismemberment.

"It's never dead until you see it's body, you've chopped it's body up into little pieces, burn the pieces, and then bury them at a crossroads," Pip said, grinning."

"Precisely," Walter said, nodding. "Although sprinkling the ashes in running water will do the trick, too."

"Maybe putting them in a locked chest and dropping it in the ocean?"

"Putting them in the chest lets them stay in one place. Scattered is better."

Pip nodded. "So, that's what we'll do for any more werewolves we meet."
