"We're Bored, So Let's Party" Party: Dorm Stairwells (First-Fifth Floors), Friday Early Afternoon On

Okay, so it wasn't the best planned or fanciest party in the world. There weren't any streamers or banners, just a few hand-scrawled signs on printer paper reading "We're Bored, So Let's Party!" There wasn't even a theme really, but that sort of was the theme, as he and Nadia had concluded yesterday. Besides, Anders was tired and not exactly up to his usual standard of movement. Plus, they were saving all the decorations and planning for the real party, after all the new kids arrived. Oh yes. Mwahahaha.

Small tables of snacks, food, and drinks (and of course the ubiquitous supply of cupcakes, since this was after all Anders) had been laid out on all the landings between the first and fifth floors, and the common rooms had been raided for chairs and seat cushions to form makeshift seating areas in the hallways near the stairwells.

Hey, an impromptu party was better than boredom, right?

[OOC: OCD up. Party on. Shut up I totally knew the original subject line was too long the whole time.]

Chad rolled that over in his head, really glad to have something to distract him, but maybe not something this...complicated. He thought he'd figured it out, opened his mouth to voice his thoughts, and then realized he had no clue, and went back to thinking about it for a bit longer.

"But...uh....then there's still a reason. I think."

Chad shook his head. "I...have no idea," he admitted.

Chad gave a firm nod. "Yes. Party. Good."

If 'party' didn't have a blissful two, Chad would have been worried that the whole thing had knocked him down into monosyllabuls. Not that that was rare.

At the very least, zen was monosyllabic.

"That's right..." Chad was struck with the sudden realization that, oh yeah, you go to school when you're at a school. Usually. "We're probably gettin' new kids with the new semester, too..."

"What kind of plans?" Chad asked, hoping maybe he'd exceeded past his own new kid status by now to be in on it.

Chad looked a little confused. Maybe Anders just looked evil when he grinned. Because that sounded like a pretty logical and nice thing to do...

Until his brain wrapped around the 'at the same time part.'

"Oh. Uhh, where you gonna get the ponies? And do they need top hats?"

Oooh, pinata. Even if Chad did feel a sharp pain of remorse for the possibility of whacking a doppleganger of one of his potential ancestors with a stick until candy burst forth from his bowels. Then again, he was Mexican, so the remorse passed very quickly.

"That's awesome," he concluded after a moment of trying to think of exactly what to call it.

Chad nodded. "S'a good idea to run with. You guys need any help, lemme know. I want in." He gave Anders a thumbs up, while contemplating if anyone around here knew how to conduct a ceremony or something so that he could use his pretty pony past life to score them some actual flying pink ponies. He'd actually be surprised if no one could.
