"We're Bored, So Let's Party" Party: Dorm Stairwells (First-Fifth Floors), Friday Early Afternoon On

Okay, so it wasn't the best planned or fanciest party in the world. There weren't any streamers or banners, just a few hand-scrawled signs on printer paper reading "We're Bored, So Let's Party!" There wasn't even a theme really, but that sort of was the theme, as he and Nadia had concluded yesterday. Besides, Anders was tired and not exactly up to his usual standard of movement. Plus, they were saving all the decorations and planning for the real party, after all the new kids arrived. Oh yes. Mwahahaha.

Small tables of snacks, food, and drinks (and of course the ubiquitous supply of cupcakes, since this was after all Anders) had been laid out on all the landings between the first and fifth floors, and the common rooms had been raided for chairs and seat cushions to form makeshift seating areas in the hallways near the stairwells.

Hey, an impromptu party was better than boredom, right?

Still fairly convinced he was going to end up in small heap at the bottom of the stairs, Stark approached the banister a little warily. It wasn't like he'd had stairways to practice this sort of thing on before.

But it might be fun. Or so Anders claimed. So here he was, giving banister sliding a try.

"Whoooooooooooo!" Anders whooped. "Go Stark! Go Stark!"

And then there was a slightly splatted Stark on the landing. Oops.

"It was fun," he admitted, getting back to his feet. "Until the end. That wasn't so much fun."

"You're okay though, right?" asked Anders, worried. "You kinda get the hang of landing eventually, but that takes practice."

Very briefly, Stark considered saying no and seeing if that would result in cupcakes.

"Fine. I'm fine," Stark assured him.

Shucks. Anders totally would've given him cupcakes for that. "You're sure, right? Nothing broken? Sprained? Slightly achey?"

"Nothing broken or smashed or sprained or anything," Stark said. Pity about the cupcakes, really. He did take a moment to adjust his mask, but that was mostly unnecessary.
