Roof, late Friday night, as the party in the stairwell winds down

Nadia had slipped away from the "we're bored" party a little while after talking to Chad to hunt down her bottle of fine, Trinidadian rum that she kept under her bed.

Said bottle had not been open when she grabbed it.

It was now below half-mast.

As such, Nadia was now standing on the corner of the roof, both arms stretched out with the bottle clutched in one hand, yelling random Spanish words at the sky.

"He's a vampire," Walter said earnestly. "I don't care how likable he is, he's still a vampire." This from the guy who still carried a torch for one.

"Exactly," Seely agreed. "Guy drinks blood and has ridiculous hair, and still they act all swoony over the brooding loner act."

What did hair have to do with it? "At least he never looks like a little girl," Walter said as though he expected Seely to have any idea what he was talking about.

"I don't know, we have a good figure for wearing dresses." So he might have been not quite sober.

Walter looked him up and down quite frankly. "Spoken impartially, you'll never look like a little girl, no matter how frilly the dress."

"I could totally look like a girl if I wanted to."

"Your hands are too big, you have an Adam's apple, and you're just not built like a girl at all. But if you really think you could...."

"I will then," Seely said. "...I just need a dress."

"I don't think you could fit into my prom dress," Walter said, taking the opportunity to look Seely over again. "But Anders might have one left from his little common room fashion show. He's closer to your build."

"We'll just have to raid his wardrobe then," Seely decided.

"Yes," Walter nodded earnestly, and kept nodding. "Raid his wardrobe and then you'll prove me wrong." Not that he believed that at all, but he'd have a camera ready.
