Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday afternoon

After checking in at the school, Wyatt got his room assignment (208) and headed for the dorms. The room was empty when he found it, so either he didn't have a roommate or he hadn't shown up yet. Hopefully his roommate would be cool. Wyatt hadn't shared a room with anyone for years.

He claimed the left side of the room and wandered out to the common room area to get a feel for the place. (And also to see if there were girls on the floor.)

"Actually tell me you're okay and I won't hit you with a chair."

Anders finally got his mouth to work. "I'm fine, Pippi. Honest. Just kinda floored."

"Yes. 'cause." It wasn't exactly like Anders could say "Holy frak, Bel is going to kill him."

"Ooooooh kay." Pippi said totally not hearing that second thing because it wasn't actually said out loud.

"Is, um . . . is he okay? What happened to him?" asked Anders.

"He was fine, but pitiful and hungry. He said he just called away and apparently time moves slower there and faster here, he thought he was only gone a few days apparently."

Well, that wasn't going to help matters much. "I hate when that happens," Anders said awkwardly.
