Before going down to meet the new people, Parker decided a real welcome was in order.

That's why she was blowing soap bubbles off the roof, right over the entrance.

The new people should get *some* hint this place wasn't normal before they met the squirrels....

"Apparently," she nodded. "He was asking me about a Wednesday Adams and seemed pretty disappointed when I told him I don't know her."

"She left around the time he did," Parker said, looking thoughtful. "No idea where she went. They were dating for a while there. I wonder what happened?"

"One of Fandom's great mysteries I suppose. Still, I wonder what I'm supposed to do. He didn't seem like he wanted much to do with me."

"I don't know. He was kind of reserved back then anyway-- although we did have fun a couple times. There was a ... heh. Do you know how I got Boxey?"

"No, you never did say," Isabel said. "Fun story?"

"She used to be in the Teacher's Lounge. She was 'liberated'," Parker made quote marks, "at the insistence of someone whose name remains anonymous. Along with about six or seven other operatives. And decoying the big pink bear *and* then-Principal Bristow."
