The salle - morning

Zuko apparently was the first to get to the salle. He took off his shoes and shirt, just like it was required for an Agni Kai. Not that this fight would be like a real Fire Duel. For one, his roommate couldn't use fire. As he waited for Fray to show up, Zuko started practising some firebending moves as way to warm up.

((For the roommate, but the post is definitely open for people who want to use the salle or who want to watch the 'spar'. Wait for OCD please! Weeeee! Done!))

Mel showed up. Late. She would make an excuse about getting her scythe from the locker but really Zuko wasn't worth the excuse.

She stood back and watched Zuko play with himself for a bit before saying anything.

"If this is some way to get me take my shirt of you're going to be sadly disappointed."

If the last flame Zuko created was bigger than the others, it was purely coincidence and not that he was showing off. Not at all.

"Women are not required to remove their shirt," Zuko replied, as if he had completely missed the point of her remark. He probably had. He moved to the weapons locker to retrieve his dual swords.

Katara was exploring the school when she happened upon the salle. She poked her head in, then slipped all the way into the room when she saw Zuko getting ready to spar someone who didn't seem like a bender. Interested to see what would happen, she stayed quietly in a corner, trying not to attract more attention than necessary.

Tori was checking out the school, wandering and seeing everything she could, when she found the salle.

Tori was intrigued by what was going on and decided to watch the sparring, standing a ways away. Just in case.

Layla headed for the salle when she heard noises of fighting, and was drawn in like it was a trainwreck.

Peter hadn't made it down to the weapons' locker yesterday to return his sword and some of the presents he'd brought from Narnia to the locker. After a quick run around the island, he headed down there, sword slung over his back. He raised an eyebrow as he saw the spar in progress and, all thoughts of his own practice disappearing, leaned against the wall to watch.

Dawn had been looking for a good place to write a letter to her sister when she spotted some kind of fighting going on down at the salle. She wandered over and took a seat and ended up studying Mel's movements carefully throughout the fight, taking notes as she watched, the letter to Buffy forgotten.

Ami wandered in purely by accident. SHe had NO idea where she was and was a bit lost when she heard voices. Following them she found the fight. Like a moth to a flame she was drawn in and now watched, slightly horrified.

Staying well clear of both Katara and Mel, Zuko went to put on his shoes and shirt once the fight was over. He might be moving a bit gingerly and he definitely had a headache, but he wasn't going to give anyone the satisfaction of letting it show.

Peter moved to meet Zuko once he got to his shirt. "That looked interesting," he commented, still with his sword and another bundle slung over his shoulder."

Billy had come to work on some forms, but found the salle rather crowded for once. He wondered what was going on.
