Fifth Floor Common Room - Saturday Evening

Marie realized that she hadn't met any new people yet. She had seen the signs for Anders and Nadia's party, but she didn't think she was ready to be quite that sociable yet.

So she settled in to the common room with some pizza and the season one Wendy the Werewolf Stalker DVDs that she had picked up ages ago and never watched.

Bel just happened to pass through the common room. "Hello, Marie," he said.

"Bel!" Marie grinned. "Sit down. Have some pizza. I haven't seen you in ages. How were your holidays? What's new?"

"The holidays were all right," Bel said, taking a seat, making sure there was good distance between him and Marie. He didn't want any accidents to happen with her powers. "I met Phoebe's grandmother, and then we went to LA to spend time at Angel's place."

"That sounds nice," Marie said. "Jamie and I went to New York and then spent New Years here. He took me dancing at the Devil's Nest."

"Phoebe and I ended up here for New Years," Bel said. "We came back early. But we didn't go out because she wasn't feeling well. She's been under the weather recently."

Liz was making an effort to be more social and so she decided to hang out in the fifth floor common room because she hadn't been there yet, "hey," she said quietly as she entered.

"Oh no!" Marie said, looking worried. "Maybe I should stop by and visit her."

Marie smiled. "Hi. I'm Marie."

"She's doing better now," Bel said. "She should be up and around in time for classes. Just a case of the flu or something."

Liz smiled in response, "hello, I'm Liz"

"Nice to meet you, Liz," Marie replied, reaching for another slice of pizza. It wasn't easy to eat greasy pizza with gloves on, but Marie didn't take chances in the common rooms. "Help yourself to pizza."

"Well that's good," Marie said. "Did you hear about Dr. Wilson?"

Cassie was up a few floors as the pink pony party didn't seem like her sort of thing.

"Hey... people," she said.

"Yes," Bel said. "That's a shame. How's he doing? Do they know who did it yet?"

"Same here," Liz nodded as she got a slice of pizza, "thanks,"

"He woke up yesterday and Mr. Phale and I told him home last night," Marie said. "I haven't heard any details about what happened, just that he was attacked."

Marie waved one of her gloved hands. "Hi. Come have some pizza."

"I take it you're new," Marie said. "Settling in okay?"

"He's awake?" Bel said. "That's good." Wilson shouldn't remember anything, but Bel made a mental note to check on him, just in case.

"Wow. Free food really is a thing here," she said. "Hi. I'm Cassie."

"Marie," she replied. "Nice to meet you. How are you settling in?"

"I was so relieved," Marie said. "Parker got the paperwork yesterday for us."

"Yeah I got here on Tuesday," Liz nodded, "so far I've been settling in alright,"

"Settling in okay," Cassie said, grabbing some pizza. "The whole small town thing is weird."

"Aziraphale must be relieved, too," Bel said. "Paperwork? What paperwork?"
