Marie realized that she hadn't met any new people yet. She had seen the signs for Anders and Nadia's party, but she didn't think she was ready to be quite that sociable yet.

So she settled in to the common room with some pizza and the season one Wendy the Werewolf Stalker DVDs that she had picked up ages ago and never watched.

"That sounds nice," Marie said. "Jamie and I went to New York and then spent New Years here. He took me dancing at the Devil's Nest."

"Phoebe and I ended up here for New Years," Bel said. "We came back early. But we didn't go out because she wasn't feeling well. She's been under the weather recently."

"Oh no!" Marie said, looking worried. "Maybe I should stop by and visit her."

"She's doing better now," Bel said. "She should be up and around in time for classes. Just a case of the flu or something."

"Well that's good," Marie said. "Did you hear about Dr. Wilson?"

"Yes," Bel said. "That's a shame. How's he doing? Do they know who did it yet?"

"He woke up yesterday and Mr. Phale and I told him home last night," Marie said. "I haven't heard any details about what happened, just that he was attacked."

"He's awake?" Bel said. "That's good." Wilson shouldn't remember anything, but Bel made a mental note to check on him, just in case.

"I was so relieved," Marie said. "Parker got the paperwork yesterday for us."

"Aziraphale must be relieved, too," Bel said. "Paperwork? What paperwork?"

"He is," Marie confirmed. "Dr. Wilson is going to be my guardian. I thought I had told you."

"Ah, right," Bel said. "I remember now. Congratulations."

"Thanks. I'm really happy. Especially now that he's awake," Marie said.

"I can imagine," Bel said. "I'll have to pay him a visit and see how he's doing, as long as Aziraphale isn't going to freak out on me again."

Marie blinked. "Why did he freak out on you?"

"I don't know," Bel said sorrowfully. "He was blaiming me for what happened to Dr. Wilson because Dr. Wilson was in LA to talk to Angel about me."

Marie frowned. "I don't think he meant it. I think he was just worried."

"I hope so," Bel sighed. "I was really hurt by what he said."

"I can imagine," Marie said. She would have patted his arm, but he was too far away.

"Grief makes you do strange things, I guess," Bel said.

Marie nodded. "But at least he's going to be okay. I just hope that whoever did this to him burns in hell."

Bel had to stifle a smirk. Too late. He nodded gravely. "I'm sure we'll find out who did it," he said.

"I hope so," Marie said. "So, what classes are you taking this semester?"

"Villains and Villainy and So You Want A Revolution," Bel said. "I'm not sure about the third yet. You?"

"I'm in the Revolution class, too," Marie said. "And Conflict Resolution and Traditional Fairy Tales."
