Chris decided to make himself comfortable in the common room and flipped through the TV channels until he hit on the football playoffs.

"A little," Molly said with a grin. "I took a baking workshop from her over the summer. She was a good teacher."

"She's my mom," Chris admitted.

Molly's eyebrows went up at that. "Really? Wow. Does she know? I mean, the one one who went here."

"Not yet," Chris said. "We haven't exactly decided how to tell her, or really what to tell her. Wyatt and I went to meet Aunt Phoebe though."

"Wow," Molly said again. "That must have been an interesting conversation."

"She thought were were demons," Chris admitted.

"Good thing you convinced here you weren't!" Molly said. "I've heard she and her sister are pretty good at getting rid of those." She remembered Bel, who sort of didn't count. "Mostly."

"Except for the part where she's apparently dating one," Chris said with a frown.

"Yeah. I don't know him very well, but a bunch of my friends are friends with him, so he can't be that bad."

"That's good to know, I guess," Chris said. "I mean, I knew she was kind of wild as a teenager, but dating a demon is pretty out there."

Molly shrugged. "She doesn't seem that wild. Maybe that's just because she's here though," she said with a grin. "Fandom isn't exactly normal."

"So I've gathered," Chris said, smiling back. "What about you, Molly? Any special powers?"

"I am a mutant," she said proudly. "I have super strength."

Molly grinned. "There are a few benefits."

"Where were you when I moved in?" Chris teased.

"I'm not very tall," Molly said with a grin. "You probably just missed me."

Chris laughed. "That must have been it."

"Ooo! Maybe Pippi and I should offer a moving service the next time new students come in," Molly said excitedly. "We could put up posters and then no one would miss us."

"Who's Pippi?" Chris asked.

"She is another student here who is really really strong. She's not a mutant, like me though."

"So if my brother hit on either of you, you could kick his ass, huh?" Chris said thoughtfully, a glint in his eye.

Molly laughed. "You bet we could."

Chris smirked. "I might have to point him in your direction. He deserves to get knocked down a peg or two."

"Considering both Pippi and I have boyfriends, it is a for sure thing he'd get nowhere with either of us too," Molly said, smirking back.
