Chris decided to make himself comfortable in the common room and flipped through the TV channels until he hit on the football playoffs.

"The box is a sport?" she asked, looking at him confused. "How do you win?"

"No, the box is called a television," Chris said. "What's on it is a sport."

Katara finally took a seat. "Huh. Okay. How do you win? Or how do the people in?"

"Well, see that ball?" Chris said, pointing to the screen. He then launched in to a brief explanation of the rules which I'm too lazy to type out, omg. "I don't know if that made any sense," he admitted when he was done.

She laughed. "Only sorta, but I'll take your word for it. What color are you cheering for?"

"My roommate said she liked the ones in green," Chris said.

"Who's your roommate?" Katara asked curiously. "I think I'm cheering for the blue team." She unconsciously smoothed out her blue skirt. "I like them better."

Chris noticed her blue skirt and smiled. "She's over there," he said, pointing in Summer's direction. "Her name is Summer."

She looked over at Summer. "Oh, I haven't met her yet. I hope she's as nice a roommate as mine is."
