The Roof, Monday Afternoon

JD is on the roof, sitting with his legs dangling over the edge. He is writing in a small book which, to the keen observer, might seem to have a pink unicorn on the cover.

Dear Diary,

It is good to be back at school. I met Pippi this week, but it seems she is still dating someone else. I hope his head explodes. he is eaten by rabid hyenas has a very had hair day. Also I met my Little Sibling. She so obviously wants me.

JD clapped his hands together. "Excellent!" JD couldn't quite help the hint of mad-scientist nuance that crept into his voice.

JD's eyes opened wide, as his brain scrambled for an appropriate response.

"I only want to negotiate with them. See if we can reach... a mutually beneficial agreement." JD caught himself doing Doctor Evil-style hands in front of his chest before putting them back down by his side.

"I simply think that squirrels and myself can accomplish more as a team than we can individually," he reasoned. "Besides, would the squirrels agree to anything evil? I think not!"

He had her going right up to the point he asked if the squirrels would agree to anything evil.

"Actually? I'm not so sure... You make sure they don't corrupt you now JD!"
