The Salle; Wednesday Afternoon (lunch through sixth period)

While waiting for Henry, Setsuna was working a few forms with the gorgeous Narnian sword Peter had brought for her, getting use to its balance, its weight. It was lighter than she remembered Rhindon being, but it was also so short, by comparrison to Yuunagi, but she still liked the feel of it. Not nearly as graceful, but that was the style, and she could easily adapt to it. She quickly initiated a few sequences. Yes, she could definately get used to using her....

[[ she's expecting [livejournal.com profile] henryoredward eventually, maybe, but salle's open for all use ]]

Alphonse held up a hand over his eyes, blocking the wind that brushed past as he squinted slightly to see Setsuna's sword work. He grinned, deciding to test his own speed in building up the wall again-- which was a little slower than most things he transmuted, as they were all objects much smaller in mass-- and only barely before the last few stones fell to the ground, threw up his hands and went through the building procedure once more.

Alphonse blinked, almost surprised to see such a maneuver come from Setsuna, that he nearly forgot the little game he was playing with himself. He bit his lip as he stepped forward too late, slipping out a "Whoops" as the last of the debris hit the ground. Alphonse quickly dismissed it though, mentally noting not to let himself get distracted this time around, and transmuted the wall back up.

Alphonse gave a sheepish look at the eyebrow quirk, as he didn't mean to give any impression he messed up at any point. He continued to watch as Setsuna proceeded on, raising both his own eyebrows at her technique. While he wanted to see how quick he could go, Alphonse wasn't going to be stupid about it either, and at this round decided to stay clear of any kind of exploding. Once it all looked to settle, he went back to his usual building thing.

Alphonse stepped back, leaving the rocks in the position they fell in and nodded. "Yeah," he agreed, letting out a breath. Anyone who thought transmuting something that large over and over didn't take a toll on the user was definitely wrong. "And, once again, you put on a good show."

Alphonse stretched his arms behind his back briefly. "Glad I could be of assistance," he said, smiling. "It's actually some practice I could use as well."

"Aw, I got distracted," Alphonse said sheepishly. "Didn't mean to worry you for a second there."

"Nah, don't worry. I don't screw up." He grinned, then reconsidered. "... Well, not with something like this, anyway."

Alphonse mock pouted. "You can't say that I have."

Alphonse beamed. "So, training aside," he started. "I haven't seen you in quite some time. How'd your trip go?"

Alphonse gave nothing more than a blank stare, tilting his head. "That sounds... far more eventful than my break."

"Well..." he trailed off. "Not much." He shrugged. "I don't get these holidays."

"We've got that, but I live in the middle of nowhere," Alphonse pointed out. "Not so much with the gathered celebrations there."
