Cally was doing her fair share of contributing to the free consumption of mass quantities to the masses.

She was baking vegan sugar cookies. And dancing a little dorkily to the tune 'Even Rats' by The Slip.

Setsuna nodded. "Like a log. Alphonse and I had very good training session yesterday, so sleep came very easily. You?"

"Pretty good," Cally admitted. "I totally shoulda slept in today, since no class, but here I am anyways."

"No class for me, either, but that just means more training, really."

"Sure do train a lot," Cally said. "No wonder you keep so fit."

Too early for this, too early for this, too damn early! Despite her best efforts, Setsuna blushed a little, chuckled a bit nervously. "Well, you know. Can't let myself get rusty."

"I really need to get back to exercising," Cally said. "Otherwise I'm totally gonna be unable to defend myself... not that anything ever attacks me."

"How does that work out?" Setsuna asked with a wry grin in an effort to dispell her nervousness. "I thought everything attacked everyone around here."

"Besides," she added after a moment, biting her lip, "I said I'd help protect you, remember?"

"Yeah, I guess you did," Cally said with a smile in return. "But it'd make it easier to protect me if I wasn't, you know, flaily and helpless."

She poked herself in the stomach "Or pudgy, for that matter."

"People who aren't flaily and helpless won't let you protect them, though," Setsna said, not at all intending to suggest that Cally was, in fact, flaily and helpless, nor realizing that it may have sounded that way. "And I wouldn't exactly call you pudgy..."

Cally pulled up the hem of her shirt to expose her stomach a bit. Completely innocently. "You sure?"

Setsuna drew in a small breath; if she didn't know any better, wanting to give Cally the benefit of the doubt on being any sort of decent person, she'd think Cally was doing this intentionally to tease her. She tried to look without actually looking, failed, and ended up looking a little too long. She concluded that, based on the bit presented, Cally had a cute stomach, wondered if Konoka-Ojou-sama's might be similar.

"I, uh, I'm sure. I mean, you're not real fit or anything, but I wouldn't say pudgy, either..."

Cally lowered her shirt. "Thanks," she said. "Now I don't feel so guilty about cookie making."

Setsuna chuckled a little. "It's not the making you have to worry about, so much as the eating."

"True," Cally said. "You're welcome to help protect me from that by having a few yourself."

"I think I will," Setsuna nodded. "Not exactly in line with the healthy diet I had planned for today, but there's nothing wrong with a few minor indulgences..."

"Well, they're vegan?" Cally said. "That sorta makes them healthier?"

Setsuna considered this. "I can accept that."

"Good," Cally said, before bouncing over to check the cookies in the oven.

And did another hip wiggle to the music.

Setsuna sighed, and promptly forced herself to start wondering what Ranma might be doing right now...

Cally wiggled again, before shutting the oven. "Almost ready," Cally said. "And then you will be free to taste my sweet bounty."

She was being dramatic and silly.

Ack! "Do what?" Setsuna, who totally heard 'booty,' may have flailed a bit. A lot, actually.

"Have a cookie," Cally said. "After they cool, of course."

"Oh, right, of course," Setsuna shook her head. Cookies, you idiot, you're talking about cookies. She wondered how the heck booty could be related to cookies, but thought it perhaps best not to dwell on it. She rubbed her eyes a little. You're clearly going insane, Setsuna....

Setsuna's gaze shifted slightly. "Uh, nothing. I just didn't quite hear you; I was a bit...lost in thought for a moment, sorry."
