Fourth Floor Common Room: Thursday Late Morning

Cally was doing her fair share of contributing to the free consumption of mass quantities to the masses.

She was baking vegan sugar cookies. And dancing a little dorkily to the tune 'Even Rats' by The Slip.

Cameron had just gone up to the 5th floor to find Cally. When he couldn't find her in her room, he started looking through the common rooms. He looked relieved when he found her on the 4th floor.

"Yo, Cally."

"Hey Cam," Cally said, stopping her dorktastic dancing. "What's up?"

"Veronica said that you guys were going to visit her by portal tomorrow? Any change I can get a ride?" Cameron asked, he nodded at Bel (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/945005.html?thread=76193645#t76193645) when he entered, but didn't pay him much attention as he was way too focussed on Cally.

Cally pouted a little. "Only if you promise you're not gonna take up all of Veronica's time," she said.

"I'll try," he said, "but..." He faltered, not sure how to say this without freaking Cally out. Which was hard because he was still freaked out himself even if he'd calmed down heaps since he talked to Veronica.

Bel had no classes today, and as such was a little bored. He was heading downstairs to smoke when he passed through the 4th floor common room. Nodding in greeting to Cally and Cameron, he said, "Good morning."

Setsuna had handwavily spent all morning in rigorous training and we in desperate need of some nutritious supplimentation. Knowing she couldn't always trust the cafeteria and figuring it was too early, anyway, she stopped into the common room to prepare something for herself.

Cally waved at Setsuna and did a little hip wiggle to the music.

Setsuna facepalmed a her brain's instantaneous reaction to the hip wiggle, as she reminded herself it's way, way too early to start all that again. "Morning, Cally," she greeted as she went to find some food in the fridge and tried to push those thoughts right out of her head. Too early. Way too early. Even if she had been up since the crack of dawn.

"Morning Setsuna," Cally said. "Sleep well?" Okay, so sometimes she was a morning person.

Setsuna nodded. "Like a log. Alphonse and I had very good training session yesterday, so sleep came very easily. You?"

Katara wasn't sure what to do with herself on her second day with no classes so she wandered up to the fourth floor, one of the books she'd gotten from th library in hand.

Cally waved at Katara. "There'll be cookies soon," she greeted.

"Ooh, really?" Katara asked with a grin and a wave back to Cally. "With chocolate?"

Yes, Dawn had taught her well and quickly.

"Not these, sorry," Cally said. "I didn't have any vegan chocolate left."

"Vegan?" Katara asked, leaning against the counter across from Cally. "Is that a special kind of chocolate?"

Setsuna gave the girl she didn't recognize a small wave and a friendly smile.

Katara waved back. "Hi. I'm Katara."

Setsuna's head bobbed in a nod. "Nice to meet you, Katara. My name is Setsuna."

Mac doesn't have class until this afternoon, so she made the most of a lie-in. Eventually she did make her way down to the common room, all wrapped up in the blanket (http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/blankets/574a/) Pippi had given her. Because she's cold.

She watched Cally's dancing for a minute with a little grin. Dorky dancing, very cute.

So she wandered over and gently bopped her on the nose with a dough covered wooden spoon.
