Cally was doing her fair share of contributing to the free consumption of mass quantities to the masses.

She was baking vegan sugar cookies. And dancing a little dorkily to the tune 'Even Rats' by The Slip.

"I'm not buying it," he said stubbornly. "Milk is a lot more nutritional."

"So... you can have milk with your cookies! Ha! Nutrition!" Cally said.

"Milk and cookies is definitely a winning combo," Cameron grinned and got up from his seat to grab some milk out of the fridge.

Cally went and checked the oven, and pulled out her first batch of cookies and set the tray to cool. "They're hot, so be careful, she said, before getting another cookie sheet ready to put in the oven."

"Yes, ma'am," he grinned. "Want a glass too?" he asked as he took one out of the cupboard.

"No thanks," Cally said. "Unless it's fake milk."

Cameron blinked. "Fake milk?" he asked as he poured a glass for himself.

"Cause normal milk isn't vegan," Cally pointed out.

"Oh," he frowned and glanced down at his glass. "Shame," he shrugged.

"The things we do for love," Cally said.

"I think this would be one of the things I wouldn't do for love," Cameron said, concentrating on what cookie looked best.

"Well, see, this just shows... no, nevermind," Cally teased.

He raised an eyebrow. "Shows what?" he asked, having picked out a cookie which he was now trying to cool off by throwing it from one hand to another.

"Oh, just was gonna made an evil comment about certain skills of Veronica's, that's all," Cally said.

He stared at her. "Veronica's skills are more than fine," he defended his girlfriend.

"But not Vegan-worthy, apparently," Cally said.

Cameron blinked. "I didn't say that, it's just one of those things that I don't think you should do for your SO."

"Well, yeah, in your case it doesn't make any sense," Cally said. "But mine does."

"Why not?" he asked absently, a bit confused by actually trying the cookie.

"Well A, Veronica isn't a vegan, and B, you're doing the long distance thing, so you don't have to feel weird about eating things she doesn't," Cally said.

"I guess, it's not something we've had to worry about before," he replied and took another bite. "Good!"

"Thanks," Cally said. "And they're also frog spawn free, if you were worried."

"Uh..." he looked at the next cookie he'd just picked up. "Yes, that's a good thing."

Cally shrugged. "Something I heard on the radio last night."

"Ah yeah," he frowned. "Like snickerdoodles are made of people?"
