The Roof- Thursday Night

Henry managed to make his way to the dorm roof. He'd had a busy week, and needed to relax. He pulled some sheets out of his folder, and opened up his violin case. He tightened the bow strings and rosined them up. The violin needed a serious amount of tuning, due to the climate change. But it was quickly ready. He snapped on a shoulder rest, tucked the instrument under his chin, and started to play. Mozart's first violin concerto in G minor.

It took Henry longer to hear the twins, as he finished the movement. Though he wasn't using the music much, he stopped to turn the page. Then he spotted them. "Oh, good evening."

"Hey." They remain seated and wait for him to continue. It was a definite pacifier for them.

Henry was a little startled, but he started playing again, the second movement. Still G minor, even slower tempo.

They mumbled quietly back and forth in Japanese while they listened, now waiting for him to finish so they could intorduce themselves to the stranger.

Violin does wonders for a tainted mind.

Henry played through the movement. As long as there were people listening, he tried to play his best.

They nod approvingly when he's finished. "How long have you been playing for?"

"Ten years," Henry replied.

"It's nIce." They say in unison with grins.

Henry was a little perturbed by the unison, but a compliment is a sign of kindness, and kindness is always to be respected.
No matter how scary.
"Thank you very much." Henry gave a little bow and put out out his hand to shake...well, one of their hands. One at a time. "Henry Jekyll," he said by way of introduction.

"Hikaru Hitachiin." One twin took his hand.
"Kaoru Hitachiin." The other took it after to shake.

Henry took the usual second to memorize name to face.
And then took another one, as he realized that the only difference was the hair part. That could be a little difficult.
"Yes, I am. Pleasure to meet you."
