Second Floor Common Room - Wednesday Night

Kawalsky wasn't just in the common room. He was in the common room with enough junk food to last the night, pillows, all the blankets he could find and a bunch of chairs. The TV was playing the third hour of a Rescued by the Alarm marathon. It was the one where Bessie didn't get into the college she wanted and Shriek kept getting into the oddest colleges, so Bessie kept freaking out at everyone and scaring them with her giant feet.

Kawalsky was only half-watching it anyway. He was busy trying to make a giant room fort that covered the TV.

Cassie raised an eyebrow at the TV.

"...you have got to be kidding me," she said.

Molly wandered in. "What are you doing, Charlie?"

"Musical girl! Are you here to help or heckle?"

"Building a giant fort. Wanna help?"

"Sure!" Molly said. "What should I do?"

Charlie grabbed a pillow and tossed it at Molly. "You can help me hang this blanket over these chairs."

Molly waved to Cassie. "Hey, Cassie."

"None of us are old enough to have actually watched this show when it was cool, right?" Cassie said in lieu of an answer.

"Hey Molly," Cassie said. "Superheroing sure was interesting yesterday, wasn't it?"

Molly caught the pillow with an 'oof!' and went to help Charlie with the blanket. "So, why are you making a fort?"

"Yeah. I've never had to worry about a secret identity so it was a little weird."

He grinned. "Why not?"

"Weeeell, with people coming from different years and stuff, I'd say we could find someone who did." He threw a pillow at her.

"Yeah, and I've not exactly got the best kept one, either," Cassie admitted. "It was kinda obvious, sadly."

Trying to avoid dealing with her roommate like the plague, Mel ventures into the common room. "Okay. What are we building here?"

Cassie was really not so much with the expecting of the pillow.

So she reflexively shrunk out of the way. Not enough that her clothes fell off or anything, but still noticable after she grew back to normal size.

"Whoa. Sorry."

When Haruhi wandered by, she couldn't help but stare a little, both at the TV and at the fort being built.

Molly grinned back and shrugged. "Good a reason as any I guess."

"Giant fort of ultimate supreme awesomeness. Wanna help?"

"Hey new person, know anything about building forts?"

Cassie shrugged. "I have no idea," she said.

A monkey, chimp to be exact, made it's way into the second floor common room from the outside.
