Second Floor Common Room - Wednesday Night

Kawalsky wasn't just in the common room. He was in the common room with enough junk food to last the night, pillows, all the blankets he could find and a bunch of chairs. The TV was playing the third hour of a Rescued by the Alarm marathon. It was the one where Bessie didn't get into the college she wanted and Shriek kept getting into the oddest colleges, so Bessie kept freaking out at everyone and scaring them with her giant feet.

Kawalsky was only half-watching it anyway. He was busy trying to make a giant room fort that covered the TV.

"...you have got to be kidding me," she said.

Molly wandered in. "What are you doing, Charlie?"

Trying to avoid dealing with her roommate like the plague, Mel ventures into the common room. "Okay. What are we building here?"

"Giant fort of ultimate supreme awesomeness. Wanna help?"

Cassie shrugged. "I have no idea," she said.

When Haruhi wandered by, she couldn't help but stare a little, both at the TV and at the fort being built.

Cassie waved. "Hi roomie."

"Well? Are you just going to stare? Or are you going to help?" Mel said at the new guy.

A monkey, chimp to be exact, made it's way into the second floor common room from the outside.

Kawalsky stared for a few moments, then figured the chimp was a student. "You here to help?"

Haruhi gawked once she noticed it. "They let animals in here?"

After visiting Cally, Teddy decided that doing something other than be depressed in his room was in order. It had been a while since he went to the second floor, so he gave it a try again.

"Are you guys building a fort?" He asked from the doorway.

"Apparently it's a fort of awesomeness," Mel explained. "I'm not sure how but it couldn't hurt."

"Captain...whatever your letter was in Criminal Justice! Teammate. We're not just building any fort. We're building a fort of awesome."

"I think that's what they're doing," Cassie said. "Hey."

Bored as usual, the twins wandered the common rooms in search of familiar faces. Upon entering the second floors, they saw something even better than that. A fort.

"Twin guys! Come add to the fort. The bigger the better."

Irulan was planning on writing her journal but found she didn't have the concentration it required, so she wandered in the common room. The viewscreen was playing another show but it was the pillows and blankets that somehow, if she squinted and was really faraway, looked like a fort that gave Irulan pause.

About fifteen minutes after the chimp left, Marco came into the room, looking very, very innocent.
