Second Floor Common Room - Thursday Morning (Before Classes)

The giant pillow/blanket/chair fort of awesome was still up from last night. Thankfully, someone had turned the TV off so Rescued by the Alarm wasn't on anymore. Kawalsky had fallen asleep during that really bad murder mystery weekend episode where Zeke was in on it the whole time.

Worst episode ever.

He emerged from the fort and eyed the common room kitchenette. This situation called for pancakes. He got to it, being a pancake ninja and all.

"Pancakes! Get your pancakes."

[OOC: Free pancakes! Feel free to come in or say that you stayed there the whole night in the fort. I'll be here until I fall asleep.]

The fort was indeed there, in all its awesome glory. Kawalsky glanced over his shoulder from where was making pancakes. "Hey. Pancakes?"

His attention was divided between the fort and the offer of pancakes. Nova shakes his head and answers,"..no..thank you..," in a distracted way.

"You sure? They're preeetty good pancakes. Best in all of Fandom. Well, all of the common rooms. If the bakery has pancakes, I can't beat them."

Nova had to think about it now. If pancakes were anything like sandwiches, they would have to be good.

"I'll try them," he decided.

He took a moment to finish cooking the latest batch and put a couple onto a plate. "Try them with maple syrup," he gestured to the New Hampshire maple syrup on the counter.

"Thank you," Nova said. He grabbed a few pancakes then headed for the syrup when he recalled how awkward it was to eat in front of other people.

He decided pancakes could wait to be eaten later and proceeded to search for something to wrap them in.
