Second Floor Common Room - Thursday Morning (Before Classes)

The giant pillow/blanket/chair fort of awesome was still up from last night. Thankfully, someone had turned the TV off so Rescued by the Alarm wasn't on anymore. Kawalsky had fallen asleep during that really bad murder mystery weekend episode where Zeke was in on it the whole time.

Worst episode ever.

He emerged from the fort and eyed the common room kitchenette. This situation called for pancakes. He got to it, being a pancake ninja and all.

"Pancakes! Get your pancakes."

[OOC: Free pancakes! Feel free to come in or say that you stayed there the whole night in the fort. I'll be here until I fall asleep.]

Katara pretended to facepalm. "Oh, no!" she said mock-loudly. "You're not Princess Powerful! That's someone else! Who is much, much different from you."

"Totally someone else," Molly said with exaggerated nodding. "Just like you're Katara not... Katara. Wait, that doesn't really work, does it?"

"I told the girl who was trying to break my secret identity that I couldn't possibly be that Katara," she said with a nod. "Because I run away from danger when it appears."

Molly laughed. "I haven't known you very long, but even I know that's a lie," she said.

"Shhhhh," Katara said, giggling. "It's a secret."

Molly giggled, but pressed her lips together and pretended to zip them.

"How is everything going anyway? I'm really not being a very good big sister, am I?"

"You're the best big sister I've ever had," Katara told her.

Molly's frown fought with her grin. "Didn't you say that you'd always wanted a big sister? Doesn't that mean you've never had one?" she asked, obviously not really offended at all.

She giggled. "Exactly. So you're the best ever. And I think you've been good anyway. You helped me choose all my classes!"

"Yeah, but I haven't checked to see how you're doing with the language thing. Do you need any help with that?"

"I went to the library and talked to Bridge," Katara said. "He found me some books that I've been studying. It's so different though. I think it's going to take a long time."

"I will help however I can," Molly said. "With other stuff too. Like, if you need any machines or kitchen appliances demonstrated."

Katara grinned. "Thank you!" She glanced at the stove. "Can you show me how to light that fire to make hot chocolate?"

"I sure can!" Molly said and led Katara over to the stove. "Stoves are easy. They're all hooked up so you just have to turn this knob here to turn on this burner here." She pointed to each as she spoke. "And this little... mappy thing shows you which knob controls which burner. You can even control the temperature by turning the knob a little or a lot."

She watched Molly with big eyes. "Oh, I'm going to miss that when I go home."

Molly grinned. "It takes a while to figure out how much to turn the knobs to get the temperature you want, but it's pretty easy."

"No matter what, I think it's probably easier than building a fire and all that," Katara said with certainty as she found a pan and set water in it to boil.

"Way easier than building a fire," Molly agreed with a laugh.
