Second Floor Common Room - Thursday Morning (Before Classes)

The giant pillow/blanket/chair fort of awesome was still up from last night. Thankfully, someone had turned the TV off so Rescued by the Alarm wasn't on anymore. Kawalsky had fallen asleep during that really bad murder mystery weekend episode where Zeke was in on it the whole time.

Worst episode ever.

He emerged from the fort and eyed the common room kitchenette. This situation called for pancakes. He got to it, being a pancake ninja and all.

"Pancakes! Get your pancakes."

[OOC: Free pancakes! Feel free to come in or say that you stayed there the whole night in the fort. I'll be here until I fall asleep.]

Cameron tore a piece of pancake off and chewed on it thoughtfully. "She will be, it's been a rough week and Cally getting hurt didn't help. Something attacked her when I was down there this weekend and it's starting to look like it might have been the same thing."

"Huh. That's weird, pal, real weird. Gimme a yell if you're gonna go charging off and need back-up." He knew that Cam would call him if he needed a sidekick.

"Definitely," he promised. "Right now, we've got to wait until we figure out what exactly is behind it. Pancakes are a good way to keep busy," he decided, trying to lighten up the conversation.

"Pancakes make everything better. Fail an exam? Pancakes. Waiting for something you don't wanna wait for? Pancakes. Computer won't work? Pancakes. Invasion? Pancakes!"

Cameron grinned and held up a pancake. "I suppose you could throw them at their eyes and blind them for a moment," he suggested. He put the pancake back on his plate and finally sat down, pouring a royal amount of syrup over his stack.

"Or just offer them pancakes and they'll settle, calm down and eat breakfast with you."

"That could work too..." Cameron frowned and wondered if it was Fandom's fault that he thought about attacking first. "We'll keep the throwing as plan b."

Kawalsky nodded. "Wouldn't want to waste pancakes if we can help it."

"No," Cameron agreed and started eating. "Maybe the military should look into the peace making capacities of pancakes."
