Second Floor Common Room - Thursday Morning (Before Classes)

The giant pillow/blanket/chair fort of awesome was still up from last night. Thankfully, someone had turned the TV off so Rescued by the Alarm wasn't on anymore. Kawalsky had fallen asleep during that really bad murder mystery weekend episode where Zeke was in on it the whole time.

Worst episode ever.

He emerged from the fort and eyed the common room kitchenette. This situation called for pancakes. He got to it, being a pancake ninja and all.

"Pancakes! Get your pancakes."

[OOC: Free pancakes! Feel free to come in or say that you stayed there the whole night in the fort. I'll be here until I fall asleep.]

Pam waved, managing to not be awake enough to comment on Mel's hair. "I'm Pam, and there's coffee, too?" She considered this. She never drank coffee at home.

But maybe with lots of sugar and milk it wouldn't be that bad?

"Yeah," she said pouring a mug and passing it over to Pam. "Here. It'll put hair on your chest. If you're into that kind of thing."

Pam peered down into the coffee and made a beeline for the sugar. "Tha's really more my boyfriend's territory," she admitted. "I, um, like your hair, by the way."

"Thanks," Mel said tasting her coffee and making a face. Then grabbing for the cream. "So who's your boyfriend?"

"His name's Roy. He's still back in Scranton," she replied, pouring a third sugar into her coffee. "Where're you from?"

"Haddyn. Which is supposed to be on this world but the name must have changed in the next two hundred years or so," Mel replied.

Mel stared back. "What?"

[identity profile] cantjossme.livejournal.com 2007-01-18 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"Two hundred years. From the future," Mel said snagging a pancake. "We've got flying cars."

Pam stared some more, openmouthed. "Seriously?"

[identity profile] cantjossme.livejournal.com 2007-01-18 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah. Vampires too," Mel replied matter-of-factly and then held up a plate of pancakes. "Pancake?"

[identity profile] keds-champion.livejournal.com 2007-01-18 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
"...vampires aren't real."

[identity profile] cantjossme.livejournal.com 2007-01-18 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah. I wish that were true," Mel replied looking down. "Sorry. I thought all the students were down with the strange stuff around her."

"I'm still getting used to it," she said, chewing her lip.
