Second Floor Common Room - Thursday Morning (Before Classes)

The giant pillow/blanket/chair fort of awesome was still up from last night. Thankfully, someone had turned the TV off so Rescued by the Alarm wasn't on anymore. Kawalsky had fallen asleep during that really bad murder mystery weekend episode where Zeke was in on it the whole time.

Worst episode ever.

He emerged from the fort and eyed the common room kitchenette. This situation called for pancakes. He got to it, being a pancake ninja and all.

"Pancakes! Get your pancakes."

[OOC: Free pancakes! Feel free to come in or say that you stayed there the whole night in the fort. I'll be here until I fall asleep.]

Molly snickered. "You've met Alec then?"

"Hard to miss a guy running around shirtless on the first day of school," Mel with an interesting expression on her face. "Especially him."

Molly gave her a big grin. "Yeah, there's a lot of good scenery here."

"Yeah. Wouldn't kick a lot these guys to the curb," Mel said. "Which one is yours?"

"Ray Kowalski. Have you met him yet?"

"I don't think so," Mel said shaking her head. "What's he like?"

"He let me pick him up the first time we met so that I could prove how strong I am," Molly said, grin firmly in place and a blush on her cheeks.

"Oh, yeah? What part of him did you pick up?" Mel asked with a smirk.

Molly blushed a little more. "All of him," she said.

"I guess that's one way to show him who's boss," Mel said giving Molly an evaluating look. "So you're really strong then? Are you a pump?"

Molly tilted her head. "A pump? I don't know what you mean by that. No, I'm a mutant with super strength."

"A pump is someone who has artificially increased their strength," Mel replied, now giving Molly even more of an evaluating look. "So... you're a mutant with powers? That's a little different where I'm from."

"Mutants are different where you're from?" Molly asked.

"Yeah. Usually not so much with the special abilities and big with the different body parts," Mel explained. "For instance my old boss? He was a fish."

"We have mutants like that where I'm from too," Molly said, "but they usually also have powers of some sort."

"Do you have vampires and slayers?" Mel asked. "Because I'm trying to get a hold of this dimensional concept."

"We have vampires, but not like the vampires that Dawn and some of the other people know. From the sound of it, not nearly as many either. No slayers at all though."
