5th Floor Common Room, Friday morning after third period

After class, Bel made his way back up to the fifth floor. Instead of heading to his room, he sat down on the couch in the common room, picking up the remote and turning on the TV. He flipped through the channels, idly looking for something to occupy a few hours.

"I didn't accuse you," Marty said coolly. "You don't have your powers. Right? So how could you do any of it? Personally I think what happened to Angela was directed at me. Just like there are some people out there who might try to get at Phoebe just to get to you."

Was that a threat? Gosh. So hard to tell by his tone.

"I don't know about Cally, Bridge or Z, but what about Dr. Wilson? Did you know he was going to LA to talk to Angel about you?"

"If I was trying to get at you," Bel said coldly, "I would go after you. Trust me. As for Dr. Wilson, I didn't know he was in LA to talk to Angel until after the fact when Aziraphale told me. I think he wanted to talk to him about the headaches I was having after you turned me human."

"You seem to be pretty defensive Bel," Marty replied with a shrug. "All I'm saying is that a lot of the attacks have some sort of connection to you. Plus whoever it is seems to know a lot about us. You know whoever attacked Wilson left his finger and ring on Phale's pillow? Knew details about how I removed your powers? Whoever it was had to know us fairly well."

"Of course I'm defensive," Bel said. "When Ally Cameron got attacked by a demon, I got thrown in jail for a week because of it, and it turned out to be my mother setting me up. So if you're right about this somehow being connected to me? Then that's the direction you should be looking. I'm sure the Underworld would love to get revenge on me."
