5th Floor Common Room, Friday morning after third period

After class, Bel made his way back up to the fifth floor. Instead of heading to his room, he sat down on the couch in the common room, picking up the remote and turning on the TV. He flipped through the channels, idly looking for something to occupy a few hours.

"Sex stuff!" Bel exclaimed.

"Oh em gee, it's like you live in the gutter." Blair facepalmed. "Not sex stuff. Just sharing stuff like friends share stuff. You know, how we share?"

"Oh," Bel said a little sheepishly -- as sheepishly as the Source of All Evil could be. "Sorry. I misunderstood."

"No kidding." Blair rolled his eyes. "Have a little faith in me. Or actually, Phoebe."

"You just caught me off guard," Bel said. "So...what did you want to talk about again?"

Blair wasn't so sure anymore that Bel was the right person to go to for this, but there wasn't anyone else that he trusted. "Questions about sex that doesn't involve me and Phoebe or me and you."

"And no mime jokes, please."

"What...what do you need to know?" Bel said. "You know how to do it, right?"

"Yes?" Blair said nervously and then nodded. "Yes. Of course I do."

"I just have some questions. Like about the right time and how it changes things and tips and when to do it and what to do if your girlfriend is older and all that stuff."

For once, Belthazor wasn't struggling inside the Source. Right now he was laughing his ass off -- not at Blair but at the Source's predicament.

What the Source wanted to say was, "If you desire pleasure, you take it when you want it and how you want it." What he actually said was, "All right. So it's a girl, and not a guy. River?"

"Of course it's a girl." Blair frowned a little. "Don't make fun of River, man."

"I'm not making fun of her," Bel said. "I'm just making sure your situation hadn't changed because that would be an entirely different talk."

"No changes." Blair shook his head. "Just me and River."

"So...do you know if she wants to?" Bel asked.

"Oh yeah, she really wants to." Blair nodded a little sheepishly. "She actually asked Parker to talk to me about it, to find out why we haven't yet."

"That was embarrassing."

Bel shuddered. "I can imagine," he said. "So what's the problem? If you want to, if she wants to, then go to her room or you room and do it."

"Okay, I'm...you know, a virgin." Blair said quietly. "So I haven't ever done that before and River seems to know what's she doing and I don't want to seem like a dork who doesn't know what he's doing. Plus, how does that change things? I haven't even told if I love her or not and that seems like a big step. How does sleeping together work with the whole mind reading thing?"

"It's not that difficult," Bel said, sweeping a hand through his hair. How did he end up in this conversation? "Take your time and get her warmed up. Try to think of things like baseball scores to distract yourself from...finishing too soon. But if she's reading your mind, that might not work."

"Should I be taking notes?" Blair asked, digging into his backpack for a notebook. "What should I do if I can't think about baseball? What do you mean about warming her up?"

"..." If there had been a desk handy, Bel would've headdesked.

"Foreplay. You do know female anatomy, right? All the parts...down there?"

"I took sex ed." Blair said. "Of course I spent a large portion of that class getting embarrassed by you."

"I remember," Bel said, shaking his head. "All right. You want to pay special attention to her erogenous zones, you remember what those are, right? You know, this might be easier if I just show you a movie...."

"Movie would be good." Blair nodded. "Hopefully less embarrassing for the both of us."

"I can't tonight," Bel said. "I've got plans -- it's my birthday."

"Seriously?" Blair bounced excitedly. "Man, why didn't you tell me? Happy Birthday!"
