Cassie sat in the common room, wondering what the heck was going on upstairs. Sure seemed a lot of noise.

The room was mostly empty, but Rikku hoped that the boy was distracted enough by his conversation not to notice the tiny hand pulling his keys out of his pocket.

No, he didn't really notice, between the converstaion and the noise continuing from up above, the jingling of keys did not catch his attention.
