Dorm Roof, Monday Afternoon (Before 7th Period)

Okay, so the roof wasn't exactly the best place to go when you wanted to hide your face, but it was kind of The Spot for smoking, brooding, and emo as far as Anders was concerned, anyone else's declarations to the contrary completely disregarded.

He was, in the wake of his alternate persona's weekend activities, currently engaged in all three of the above.

Smoking? Well, yeah. He was flaily and trying to calm down in a very unhealthy way.

Brooding? Hey, he'd been a jerk to a lot of people, threatened to kill a few more, and oh-sweet-Lords-of-Kobol, let vampire Willow bite him. So, guilt, which led to brooding.

Emo? Look, he'd gotten to really like that black-orbing thing. He was gonna miss that.

Anders waved at her from the middle of a cloud of smoke.

"Hey Anders, I'd ask if you're weekend went better then mine but... I'm going to guess no."

"I remember Nadia warned not-me not to try and sleep with you -- which, given your boyfriend could kick me-me's ass, is probably something I should send her chocolates for."

Pippi couldn't help but giggle at that.

"I think not-me would have liked you... Or not-you... What was not-you like?"

"A total frakking pervert," Anders grumbled. "I must've hit on half the girls in the school, and you don't even wanna know how much ass-grabbing was going on."

"Okay, not-me probably wouldn't have liked not-you then... Or maybe she would, I don't know."

Anders laughed. "I kind of don't really want to know. Who was not-you, anyway?"

"She was a fashion model. She was very..."

Pippi's shoulders slumped a bit.

"Normal."

"Didn't like it, huh?" Anders asked, with an almost-smile. "I'm sorta having the opposite problem."

"That's not quite it. Well... It is, but it isn't."

Anders tilted his head in confusion. "I don't get it," he said. "I know I wish I had Alec's powers. At least the teleporting ting."

"I don't get to turn off my strength Anders."

That kind of threw him. "And you wish you could, sometimes?"

"...Yeah." Pippi said. "And now I know what it's like."

Anders bit his lip, completely at a loss. "All I can think of to say is to ask if you want a hug."

Anders held his arms out. "I'm always good for a hug."

Pippi leaned in for her hug.

"...Just don't have sex with me." she smirked into his shoulder.

Anders burst out laughing and hugged her a little harder. "Nadia would kill me extra hard now that I'm me again."

"Well, Veronica would probably come back and taze me as well."

Anders grimaced. "She'd probably tazer me too. She's probably just been waiting for an excuse to do it."

"We're agreed then." Pippi nodded. "No sex."

"Guess we'll just have to do without," Anders said with a melodramatic sigh. "Can you make that sacrifice?"

"It'll be tough. But we can do it. For, uh . . . the good of the universe or something."
