Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Morning

Chris had spent most of Saturday sleeping off the effects of the shadow attacks. So he was awake early today and decided to go and hang out in the common room.

He wasn't about to try to cook, but he did root through the cupboards and pull out a variety of cereal boxes, as well as getting bowls and spoons down and making sure the milk and juice were in the front of the fridge.

After fixing himself a bowl of cereal, he sat down in front of the TV and started flipping through channels to see if there was anything interesting on.

[ETA: getting dragged AFK for a bit; will pick up tags when I'm back! Err, forgot to say I'm back now :)]

"Don't think so," Mac agreed, she then smiled at him, because making a good first impression would probably be a good thing. "I'm Mac. You're... new, I guess?"

"Wild guess," Mac replied pulling her feet up so she was sat crosslegged on the sofa. "After a year or so around here, you start to know people, at least by sight. How'd you like it so far?"

"I still do," Mac said twirling the apple between her hands. "Went out to California to see her and Veronica a couple of weeks ago."

Mac arched an eyebrow and scrutinised him for a moment. "Can kinda see the likeness," she said after a second. After everything she's seen, that's... not the weirdest thing.

... apart from, "Piper is and older version of your Piper? How old are you?"

"Oh." Mac seemed to take that in, nodding slowly. "Still weird," she said. "Then again, my timeline's all screwy, so I'm not really one to talk."

"What do you really expect from a place that rains meatballs?" Mac said shrugging and taking a bite of her apple.

"It rained pudding this summer," Mac said once she'd swallowed her mouthful. "Chocolate, and vanilla."
